Now don't get me wrong. I understand fully that adventure packs are pretty much the only thing in DDO that people are virtually guaranteed to purchase some of during their tenure, and therefore it may not need s much of a promotional sale push as other items.
But it has been a good three months now since any ebberon packs went on sale. I want more packs, I have money I want to spend on packs, i've just been waiting because I know with my luck as soon as I -do- spend they'll go on sale.

more packs mean updates. updates mean plenty of bugs. bugs mean you cant play due to server down in order to fix and then update the fix and then patch the fix and then fix the patch and then update the fix of the patch of the bug of the former patch for the latter fix of the first update. still sure you want more packs?

I think he meant a discount sale on already existing pack.
like, when all the low lvl packs were at 75% off

This. He was asking for sales on existing packs not asking for new packs

I was just thinking the same thing. I really have all the eberron quests I need but there are a few packs that have always intrigued me but never seemed worth it when it comes to loot or anything. Sharn, Necro1-3 and Restless Isle.
If Turbine plans on cutting down on the amount of adventure pack sales maybe they should do a free weekend sort of thing for certain packs. I wouldn't have it be a whole weekend just a free 2hour guest pass or something. Enough to try most the quests depending on the pack but not really farm anything. Might be a good way to sell more eberron packs.

No new packs means the old packs get played until people get bored to death with them. And the downtimes dont usually last more than a few hours. The only benefit with no new packs, is that people can feel that they are the most powerful for a while longer. Until they start complaining that hey have nothing left to do. Ill take the bugs threads any day over the "Ive got nothing left to do" threads any day.

get them now for full price, or later for reduced price. I would not argue if the last pack sale was not at least 6 months ago.
All better than offering the expansion in ddo store for tp 6 months after it was released.

last motu sale was -35% off tp adv pack, druid and motu related offers
also recently we had a general -25% determine your own discount
it will take some time for a new discount general or adv pack related to show off :D
maybe summer, or august (so end of summer) that is my bet...

Oh man that 75% was awesome. I had bought all packs that cost 63 tp! And this year, we had 20% on all packs. Compare 20% to 75% and you'll understand why I have so many tp left :( (explanation: 20% sucks).
Right before Christmas we had a string of packs being sold at 50% then 40% discount, inspired quarter packs I believe. More of that please.

The Packs were on sale Christmas week when I started playing.
I'm hoping they will be again soon since Easter is upon us now.
