View Full Version : Encountered dragon in heroic level gianthold!

Imagine my shock when I wandered into gianthold with my level 12 rogue and ran straight into a dragon!

Can't remember the name, but its the one where you have to sneak to the chest. So after a slight hesitation I decided to go for it, and successfully sneaked to the chest. Then ran back as it woke, thinking I was about to get eaten by some epic-level dragon, focused on it, and saw it was CR 3!! (It was still the same size as the epic dragon).

So I ran forward and killed it in a few swings. No XP, but did get a chest to loot.

Pretty sure that this is not WAI!

Nope its a bug, been that way since Update 17 launched.

I'm sure they will fix it...

...soon(ish).

I keep hearing about a dragon in GH. Have run a large part of Epic GH and seen no dragon.

Where does I finds me a dragon?

I have encountered a dragon to fight just south of the Supply Master's chest a couple times...

I have encountered a dragon on the run down to madstone from the zone entrance, shortly after running through the first doorway...

It's pseudo-random - mine spawned just outside Gianthold, jumped off where the statues are, and he was sleeing in the middle of the road. Another time one spawned just down the road from PoP.
