I assume these are purely cosmetic pets?

So the "Poison bat" does nothing of real note in combat?

And your opinion, do we keep them in the hope that they become combat ready in the future?

(And what happens when both rows of our stable are full?)

So how much did you pay for that account?

Yes cosmetic, yes keep them and no they should never never ever have any effect in game. They add another row when you fill those.

If you are interested in going VIP, I'd have to refer you to the going rate for VIP accounts - which depends on whether you choose to pay monthly or one of the multi-monthly plans.

I've been playing since Oct 2009, I just never paid much attention to cosmetic pets and wanted to make sure I didn't miss any changes with U17.1 - with the new ASAH and all. The description of the bat sure implies it has a real poison ability.

Already made one wrong assumption about the release notes, just being careful.

:)

you mean the october 2009 mentioned just under your name? I would never have noticed. But I did notice you asking about a fairly NOT new thing in ddo, a thing that you probably observed thru PUGs.

I was finding the assumption of the 2nd poster that you were a 'new' my2cent to be more plausible, than you actually asking that question.

then again maybe ya lived under a rock and played only solo...
or didn't know how to search the forum...
or didn't read about it when they were out...
or the chat in game about it back in the days.

maybe that's what it was

carry on

My response of the date was an attempt at a humerous response to the poster.

Again, I have ignored cosmetic pets and with the new U17.2 this is the first one that I've gotten from the new Daily Dice, given the description I just wanted to be sure.

Its a new feature as of yesterday, and I've been soloing since yesterday.

Besides, my rock is very comfortable. There's another rock just over that hill if you'd like your own.

that would be lovely, shall we communicate with board signs, or by smoke?

also what companion did you get? If you start to like them, may i suggest a different one for each toon? I've happen to love having one 'in tune' with my toon.

What's the deal with Challenge adventures? I ran one and it gave me some Enchanted Armor Fragments. How many do I need to make some Enchanted Armor?

That is house cannith challenges..totally seperate from forgotten realms

You need to talk to the people for trade ins in house c to figure out how much you need

Those are eberron challenges..forgotten realm challenges are different with ingredients
Ok seen your born on date..my bad i thought you were serious lol

Um, I've been playing since launch....fairly regularly....and I don't pay attention to cosmetic pets at all (think they are pointless). The panther on the other hand is kinda cool, and I could see how someone might think some of the pets (the poison bat one etc) might be like the panther.

It gets hard to keep up with all the changes to be honest, especially if you take a break and come back. Even things I have been around for (changes etc), i can forget about if I only played with them for awhile then took a break. Wasn't that long ago that I was searching furiously for the way to get DR by just wearing shields (which was a feature awhile ago, but got changed to PRR). I couldn't find it anywhere and had to ask on the boards to find out what happened.

I was playing (with guildies etc) when the change went into affect...but my characters at that time were not affected, so I totally forgot about it. It's easy to forget changes over long periods of time. And it's not like NO pets are actually combat ready...so it isn't really a big stretch for someone to ask this question.

Lol, it's obviously a joke...as in....other things everyone knows about.

I still skip the challenges mostly myself....it's old...but new....if that makes sense. I never incorporated them into my leveling plan.

Its some kind of reward thing - it shows how accomplished your character is - the object is to get the highest number, the more Action Points, the more Active you are.

Funny you should ask - I've only done one Cannith challenge, Dr. Rushmore, and only two FR challenges, Fight to the finish and the other one right next to it.

You may well see me asking a n00b challenge question in here in, oh, say, 2 years or so from now?

I won't let you TOUCH my fluffy!!!

My little fluffy deserves nothing but the very finest in food and grooming - no icky dirty nasty stables for fluffy!!!

<gasp> - FLUFFY! Don't go spitting poison on the nice man - he's only trying to help.
