Can Return to Gianthold Tor be soloed (with hirelings)?

I've given up looking for a group - any chance this can be soloed?

According to the wiki you need to kill either 2 or 3 (it says both) pairs of giants and dragons at about the same time to complete the quest.

I've soloed it and all dragons on my barb with a hire (hire was worthless other than dw), it took a lot of silverflame potions but it can easily be done especially on a better class for soloing.

Also note (if you haven't ran it yet) they got rid of the pressure plates at the end. You fight the end fight, pre dragons/giants of course, in one room.

Yes, it can be soloed. It's easier on a caster.

The same way you pull levers in crucible, shadow lord, cursed crypt... hire uses one, you use the other.

DPS dragon until 5%... dps giant until 5%... kill them quickly in rapid succession. It's not rocket science.

No timer on them anymore, do one wing then the other.

I heard you can clear a side, lock a hireling at the lever, clear the other side, then click his action button. You will have lost the lock on him but he will, generally, use whatever is closest to him.

The levers don't need to be pulled at the same time anymore. Just pull one, then go to the other side and pull the other.

yes can be soloed without hires even ... no timers on levers they stay open once u use em .. and no pressure plates just a fight in the boss room ... preping the giants/dragons might be a little tricky especially now that they return back in full health if u miss it ..but can be done yes ..fyi everything that respawns rebounds now returns full hp ..either dragons,skeletons,giant or any mobs from those i saw

Are these solo-friendly changes epic only? I haven't run heroic since last update, but did couple solo runs before farming for scales, pressure plates could be done with hire and invisibility.

I was happy to see they changed the levers. Tor is easily soloable now.

The dragons are not so easy tho.

Heroic is the same as epic now. Soloable without a hireling.

It can be done. The blue can be a handful but white and black is very doable with enough adrenaline arrow shots.

Oh, I misunderstood I made the assumption (yeah I "assumed" - lol!) it meant ya gotta kill more than one pair of giant/dragon at once...also assumed they were in different places, I think I confused my reading of a different quest or with the pre-U17 heroic or something.

My bad. I will press the reset button on my brain.

Thanks to everyone else for the other tips, looks like the wiki is out of date.

I absolutely don't expect dragons to be a pushover, I just want a fighting chance.
