Kick a puppy owned by one of the devs? Sorry had to start out this way because I am trying to understand the following...

Wail of the Banshee bug- this spell which is supposed to be the top of the line in a necromancers arsenal not working as intended currently will this be fixed? Is it even in a priority cue?

Epic GH immunities- not going to whine about this heck my pale master is still at 18 on her third life so I haven't even thought about venturing out to the new GH with her yet, but if I am reading things right all the work I have been doing on her is a waste of effort and to make things worst its even worst then 2 years ago when she was a buffbot/hold and dance stuff bot...yeah considering wizards are my favorite class I am not very happy about this at all..

Collectible turn ins- Any reason at all for taking away the negative healing stuff? I am trying to figure this out because personally I am already annoyed that we cannot buy harm scrolls on divines, and umd types as it is. And after 6 years of trying to save ones from chest drops I am up to a whopping 4 harm scrolls. Is it too much to ask to put a vendor in for this? Or you know add them to the divine vendor in house J?

I just honestly want to know if we wizard players are going to have to keep looking forward to more of this kind of attention? Should I prepare to just try to grind my way to at least 20 and just let my favorite character collect dust? Or worst yet become a shroud mule for other characters who wont feel out of place in content I normally enjoy? I mean I know that the wizard class is hardly the first to feel such ridiculous changes and effects but it really does make me wonder what made us become the red headed step children this time around? Too much domination by those who took the time to be uber? Are we going the route of Wounding puncturing now? Just want to know because its not making much sense to me right now.

While we are at it why not look at the atrocious mess that is the magister ED and how nice it is to get to drop form and swig a Lesser Restore potion when stat damaged. I think they must have had a meeting where they decided to take the coolest PrE and systematically dismantle it into uselessness.

True, it is still fun to level a PM, but after that --- meh.

I hope he can find it soon because it really sucks, I pushed to get to 18 on Kal just so she could get lich form and run around wailing stuff, she is now not being played currently find melee more fun right now. These "additions" to the game have taken the wind out of my sails on playing her sadly.

I almost felt bad for him after reading his responses on that thread. He must have been severely sleep deprived or drunk. Couldn't he tell there was already blood in the water. I did not even bother checking back to see who bit him hardest.

:( ugh normally I'm all for cash supporting this game, but lately just little things building up inch by inch that's making me want to tighten the purse strings instead. Changes like the collectible turn ins is definitely a bad step in that direction to. I am not prepared to spend a ton of real money on items that should be readily available in the game i'll just not play my pale master. Though once again with her being my very first and favorite character it probably wont be long till I go on another nice vacation to another mmo just so I don't get my troll badges back.

And yes, I have only collected 4 harm scrolls over 7 years on and off playing DDO.

It must be similar to the episode (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Night_in_Sickbay) of Enterprise where Porthos the dog watered one of the holy elvera trees of the Kreetassans (A Sahuagin like alien)... :)

Now, where can I find that +100 diplomacy dance ritual or epic spell to find those 5 ham charges per day?

Hehe that made me smile I owe ya +1 and yeah I can't say nerfs don't happen just seems like someone got really heavy handed against the wizard class if it had just been one or two things then I would shrug and work around it but all these things combined has me thinking someone just don't like the PM line and wanted us who play it to know it.

Yeah, there is a "lets hate palemasters" face that the developers are going through currently.(wail,egh saves,immunity strip with no ability heal, the low selfhealing compared to damage, this change and so on). So I took a cue and shelved my PM for the time being except for easy farming runs.

Yep, I have totally stopped running EE. Sometimes EH. Last thing I want is to be a burden on the party. I also have not bothered upgrading any of the gear from eGH. Got load of comms rusting in my bag.

P.S: Some one must tell Feather_of_Sun, that Spell power for set bonuses are good, but there are classes which use DCs as well. +2 DC for Planar conflux and the recent Draconic set bonus would be a minimal positive addition atleast.

Unless you have the best DC possible, stick to eH and eN. There is still great loot and fun to be made out of those and you shouldn't have any problems landing there if built/twisted correctly (don't even always need to be in the right destiny).

I don't believe it will be like that forever so I suggest you keep TRing if you had in mind to acquire more PLs anyway.

well from gear as u can see on my first item hotbar i have kept 5 item abi set/rahkir/lvl 24 robe of shadow/twilight/+8 int ring ...just reconfiguring the slots according with new system .. with that setup u +3 dc on all major schools necro,evoc,conju,enchant , major arcane lore from tod set+twilight, boost twilight with 120 combustion/elec,or glaciation/acid or watever combo u plz (i go fire/elec personaly xept situation like eeda that needed to respec on acid/ice) ,

The important bit is not to rely on your necro spells only ..circle ,drain,wail,fod ... because u gonna drain your sp like crazy and kill mobs slower ... so take draconic destiny twist in necro/faith/echoes ( my setup for most situations )
boost primary element spell power ,get energy burst+vortex ....and play with both nuke /necro spells ...u gonna rock the floor if u learn to combine em effectively ... like circle/mass hold fire burst !!!! dead !!! :) or fire breath .. or burst and breath ...and can clean up if some1 survived with fod ...and so on that the idea anywho ^^

yeah im not a big abbot fan, remember the days of greensteel disappearing with little to no recourse for it, not really one of my favorite raids though I may have to start running it again to get that circle of hatred on her.

Limits, hah we are wizards by 20+ we are the gods of DDO I want to push passed the limits just like every other wizard, its in our class mindset we are the intelligent types. I will figure my way around this problem not going to let anyone keep my PM down :)

In other words, not really attainable for the majority of the PMs out there who can't / don't spend 8-10 hours a day fishing for all the named items in the game AND haven't purchased Epic Destinies. You, sir, are in a class all by yourself.

What we really need is for Turbine to fix what the posters in this thread have been complaining about so that the middle-class PMs without Epic Destinies, like myself, can be competitive at least and not be a burden to the groups we're in.

I am in the process of regearing my PM (again :p ), but frankly a multi-life PM with all destinies capped out she is not all that fun to play in eGH. I get the fact that not every toon is or should be the best option in every quest, but seriously with all the time I have put into her it would be nice to want to play her every now and again especially in the latest content.

yep and that is a legitimate concern. I also feel the plight of those who just want to play their high level wizards and don't have the time to grind out extra lives. And found the prestige a good way to at least not feel like a waste of a party slot or a buff bot.

Either way I just hope some of these issues are really going to be addressed, having them look at the missing vendor is fine, id still like to see us be able to purchase negative energy consumables without the ddo store .

Hope wail really gets looked at and put back the way it was before it broke.

And I am hoping for more spells as well (Bigby spells, Black tentacles, gate, imprison)
