Don't make this a level 1 feat necessarily, but... an idea I had.
Artificers already have the inherent bonuses to crafting, this is reasonable, and thus no further change is technically necessary.
However, I was thinking that as a matter of convenience, they could eventually gain the ability to deconstruct items anywhere, not just at the deconstruction station.
Like, you're in the middle of a dungeon, you find out you're full on deconstruction trash, so you activate the "Deconstruct Item" feat, and it opens up the decon window, and you put your items in and deconstruct them. It still uses up the deconstruction materials, of course.
Eventually, Artificers could get the ability to summon an entire decon station, which allows other players in the party to do the same.
Just a random thought I had.
