Lurking the forums and thinking about things. I think it would be an interesting idea to add the augment crystals from the magic item compendium. This would also be the time to do that considering the recent augment update.
what are other peoples thoughts on the matter?

In the magic item compendium most of the crystals had three tiers that stacked on top each other.
some examples would be the crystal of adamant weaponry and the true death crystal for weapons or the crystal of stamina for armor
crystal of adamant weaponry:
least: improves the hardness of a weapon by 2
lesser: improves the hardness by 5
greater: improves the hardness by 10
crystal of true death:
least: +1D6 bane damage vs undead
lesser: ghost touch
greater: ablility to crit and sneak attack undead (racial immunity only)
crystal of stamina:
least: +1 competence bonus to disease and poison saves
lesser: +3 competence bonus to disease and poison saves
greater: +5 competence bonus to disease and poison saves and 1/ rest reroll of any failed disease or poison save
non-similar bonuses on the same crystal type stack (so a Greater True Death crystal would give +1D6 bane damage, Ghost touch, and the ability to crit and sneak attack undead, but the Greater Adamant Weaponry Crystal would any give hardness 10)
Even if they don't go with some of the more powerful abilities it's still a reason to have a multitiered named augment crystal
