I have recently created a spell based druid...
I have specced myself out to be a seasons herald and am ready to prestige under my multi class with monk.

there's the back story.

Now, considering the flame blade.

it is an offensive spell.

therefore, shouldn't it benefit from Natures Warden, Seasons Herald and Eminence of the sun?

For a feat deprived class, this could get one spell a bit more power in relation to what sorcerers and wizards can hit.

not too mention, shouldn't it be able to benefit from spell power from items?

Considering that Druids are that of the elements and the wild, perhaps give an option of blade choice as well.
IE; ice blade, lightning blade, acid blade, sonic blade.

at higher levels, these blades could gain what normal items have; eg: stunning 3% for sonic, dynamo for lightning.

This is NOT intended to be a troll post.

In the few DnD-related computer games I've played, I've never really seen flame blade be anything but like a "bonus" spell. I never had anyone play a druid in PnP to watch how they wound up using it. It looks like it was just designed to aid the player in leveling until something better is found.

That said, I freely admit I've never really found druids interesting as a class; so I may be missing some elegant trick to using flame blade effectively. I so do not understand the druid class... or at least the draw to it.

It would be a very useful leveling tool if the Dev's made it out to be as a proper spell rather then a 'bonus'.

I'm at level 7 with +9 to wisdom.
I currently use a combination of call lightning and creeping cold along with flame blade (dual) to take down mobs.

If the flame blades were to be given the equipment and spell power buffs from prestige and items as all other spells have, then the spell would be something on the playing field.
perhaps then, the spells and feats of other classes that have been over looked could be given their rightful balance as well...

*takes deep breath*

You are not alone (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?p=4619272#post4619272) Some of us thought of ways to buff the class that weren't so unreasonable a decent while ago.

Druids have felt incomplete since the release of MotU, at least, to me they have. However, I make due with what I have and turned mine into a good healing druid in my own experiences.

They are spot on for healing and melee damage!

yet some of their spells feel watered down...
