I play a pure half-elf wolf druid with some ranks in UMD so I could use master's touch on weapons I'm not proficient in. I don't use non-druid weapons very often, but I always cast Master's Touch (MT) with the weapon equipped and then change into wolf form and cast Magic Fang (MF).

Yesterday when I cast MT on my Turbulent Epee I got proficiency but when I cast MF in wolf form it overwrites the MT and says I'm not proficient to wield the weapon. Has it always worked like this so I have been using my other MT weapons without proficiency without realizing? Or has the MT effect in U17 been labeled as an item enchantment, which means only one can be in effect at once? If so is MT working as intended or bugged?

If it is working as intended now, I can forget about MT which sucks a bit on more than one character. :/

Druids are always proficient with natural weapons, so casting Master's Touch is pointless anyways because the weapon non-proficiency gets overwritten by the animal form's natural attacks.

Ahh I see that's great. Thanks for the clarification. The icon stating not proficient confused me. Nice to know I can just ignore proficiency in animal forms and forget about MT scrolls. I still need to test on my arti if, for example, insightful damage overwrites MT.
