It's about time this shroud was fixed, from the utter faceslap it has been thus far.

You shroud yourself with negative energy and assume many traits of a zombie. While in this form, you hunger for brains and gain
*+2 Strength, +2 Constitution, -2 Intelligence, -4 Charisma
* Damage Reduction 5/Slashing.
* Your unarmed damage is increased by two die steps
* you attack 20% slower than normal.
* You have +100% critical hit resistance, are healed by negative energy, and are unaffected by positive energy or repair effects, but
* take double damage from light effects.
* You are considered undead rather than your original type for the purposes of most effects. This ability costs 25 spell points to activate.

Now, a fixed version:

* Your unarmed damage is increased by two die steps -> Your unarmed damage is increased by 20%

It'd be nice to actually be able to use Shroud of the Zombie in some meaningful way, for once.
Besides, we've been waiting for a long time for an undead multiclass build to be viable.

OK- you do realise that 2 die steps up from d3 is d6 right?
As it is now, a Zombie's unarmed strikes deal 1-6 damage. With your change, from +2 die steps to +20% damage, it'd be 1-3 +20%, or 1.2-3.6 damage, which would be rounded to 1-4, or +1 die step, from d3 to ~d4. For your idea to have any positive effect, it'd have to increase unarmed damage by 70+% damage, which would make a 14/6 dark side monk/Zombie PM the *only* way to go as a monk, at least. Even with your +20%, it'd only be useful to wizard/monks
As it is right now, a 14/6 monk/Zombie PM deals as much unarmed damage as a pure level 20 monk, but with +2 strength, and suffering from 20% slower hits. With your 20%, it'd be equivelent to a level 15 (? I think Monk unarmed damage goes up at 1, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18) pure monk.
Besides, for a pure wizard, who uses zombie after level 12 or 18 anyway?

Wizards attack something besides crates?

Mind Blown.
