This downtime was purely to fix the billing system, nothing that will affect the user experience

If they came out and said that they had taken this opportunity to fix even the most minor bug most of those people upset about the down time might just take a pill, put on some sunglasses and go outside. However, because this is soley to fix/update the billing system, which has nothing to very limited effect at all on gameplay at all, bad feelings continue to simmer the longer it goes on.

the Downtime was Originally 12 Hours... Then it was 24. Now its unknown.... It seems to me something went horribly wrong in their update....

That was what Tolero posted, but Sapeince over on Lotro said that in addition to the Billing system, they were also working on other back end systems. It was likely never just a Billing system.

im honestly greatful D&D is still updating and even ATTEMPTING to make the game a better experience whether or not its in game or in my customer service experience, however, it would be nice to have a small tidbit of explanation as to why the extended downtime.

Not that I agree with all the complaining, but this down-time isn't to "fix it all". According to the Dev's posts this is just maintenance on the billing system, so no bug fixes or lag fixes etc...

If Bugs and lag is what they were fixing you might have a point. But that is not what they say they are working on. What they are working on seemed to be ok for me. They are probably just introducing new problems in anarea of the code that deals with real money.

In otherwords be careful buying tp now, you never know what bug has now been introduced, my guess is someone will misplace a decimal point.....
