This game is based on 3rd edition Dungeons and Dragons. And while I accept that it moves further and further from that base every day, I’m a strong advocate for moving back closer to that base. That includes cleaving closer to the actual rules, implementing more spells, alt rules from the expansions, etc. But one of the easiest ways to start doing so would be to start including more of the magic items that are found in the game. So with that, I'm going to suggest that over the next few updates, instead of designing yet more power-creep items, you focus on introducing pnp- existing magic items.
For now, let's take a look at some rings.
Animal Friendship: 6 second cool down, charms one animal. BtA.
Blinking: Causes you to blink, as per the spell, which should also be added. 5 minute cool down. BtCoE.
Djinni Calling: Summon djinn in a ring. BtA.
Elemental Command: Spiffy rings. Should be something you craft, like Green Steel. BtCoA.
Evasion: This is what they call a no-brainer. BtCoA.
Force Shield: Good for casters and dual wielders at lower levels. BtA.
Freedom of Movement: As is, BtCoA.
Regeneration: Should be added once regeneration and natural healing in the game is completely revised.
Ring of the Ram: Spiffy mid-level item. BtCoE.
Shooting Stars: Useful mid-level item. BtCoE.
Spell Storing: Very useful item, for casters, and others if friends can load spells into it. BtCoA.
Spell Turning: 3 uses per rest, 5 minute cool down. BtCoA.
Sustenance: As noted must be worn for a week to attune (I’d make it 168 hours logged in game time but I’m mean). Once attuned, while worn it would roughly quadruple the amount of healing gained at shrines. BtCoE.
Telekinesis: Would require adding the telekinesis spell. BtA.
Three Wishes: Within the same paramters of the wish spell. Once you use all three wishes, you can never use a ring of three wishes again until you TR. BtCoA.
Water Walking: Situationally useful, BtA.
X-Ray Vision: Would be a neat addition. BtCoE.
