Hey guys a friend of mine wanted a Bard but wanted to use a repeater so I figured the easiest thing would be to pick up a level or two of Arty to pick up a handful of free feats (rune arm itself won't be very useful but it adds an extra slot for effects and the imbue effect of RAs add damage to your xbow) and I like how it turned out (open to suggestions still) but I wanted to explore a deeper splash...I've got the basic frame down but could use some suggestions.

Anyways here's the 18/2 Version

True Neutral Halfling Bard18/Arty2 "Spellsinger"

Str 6
Dex 18
Con 14
Int 8
Wis 8
Cha 18 (Stat ups Here)

3 Precise Shot
6 Extend
9 Rapid Shot
12 IC: Ranged
15 Toughness
18 IPS
ED Fatesinger
21 Combat Accuracy
24 Inspire Excellence

14/6 Version mainly for Battle Engineer, Insightful damage & Elemental Weapon

9 Rapid Shot
12 IC: Ranged

in my humble opinion drop the 1 lvl fighter to get the second lvl of arti for rune arm use the passive dps bump is quite respectable for crossbows even if the active shot wont do almost anything

I'm assuming your referring to the damage rune arms add to the xbow attacks, also simply the ability to have w/e bonus is on the rune arm itself (ie. Hand of the Tombs adds Disruption to your repeater)

I guess having IPS delayed to Lvl 18 isn't that big of a deal. Definitely a strong possibility I'll change that

Just an observation - delaying Bard to grab arty 6 is going to make his mesmerise really weak at mid level, isn't it? Not enough points in perform for mobs his level.

I'm assuming you mean Fascinate which is Perform+D20...so all that needs to be done is she needs to put points (2 x 0.5 = 1) into perform during arty levels

Went through it with my friend and we both agreed that Bard18/Arty2 is better especially since I didn't really have any use for the extra feat
