Hello everyone..

Kinda sad to see guildslotted items no longer being generated come u17. The vendors will still be in place, and that made me think that maybe in an upcomming raid, we could see an item which would have guild slots, instead of the new and improved epic augment slots...

You could parhaps tie the different slots to difficulties, like:

Heroic: Tiny slot
EN: Small
EH: Medium
EE: Large

What kind of an item/weapon would you like to have a guildslot? ..If any? 8)

Since they clearly don't like the guild system it seems unlikely

Ah... so when I do epic elite with my guild that is only level 30, I'll get a useless slot in my raid loot...

As Gkar sort of alluded to, the guild slot system is being discontinued with U17 (as in, no new items will drop with guild slots, but current items will not change, and augment vendors will stay in House K).

Instead, items will all have a small % chance to drop with a colorless, red, yellow, or blue augment slot, depending on item type. Additional information available here (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=405026)

I say no thanks.

The OP's suggestion would have merit, if the Guild augment system wasn't considered flawed. Turbine figured out that guild slots (along with epic slots) were not an ideal design. The new augment slots are replacing the old systems and I am very much looking forward to the improvements.
