so i am really really unhappy with my pally tank.

he is durable as alll hell, but dps is lacking.

so i wanted to tr him for a couple of things

first more damage! more more more!

2nd fighter life if i decide to tr him again

so oddities -

i took both kopesh and bastard sword pro on purpose. I have several nice bastards to use, but no toon to use it on.
yes i have both twf and thf lines in there. The idea of it (and i may be talking out my lower hole here) is thf for my esos in full damage mode, and glancing blows from the bastard in wannabe dps mode, and twf for versitilty

the 12 fighter levels are for kensi/feats - the six pally levels are for hod, threat gen, saves bonus and a minor loh. the monk levels are there for feats, saves and situational evasion

healing amp should be very good on this guy, have good gear

.3 + .2 + .1 +.1 +.3 = 210%(i think) math may be wrong, but its close to what im getting right now as pally

What do you mean with twf for versality ? you mean flavor because you are losing tanking abilities or more dps by taking features that not complement your build.

The idea of mixing fighter with paladin for more features and dps is good but if you get the right features to complement your weaknesses. My suggestion is to drop all twf line and also drop kophesh (that will be 4 extra features to add to your THF style)

Now, with that 4 features you can take 1. Imp sunder (help to reduce enemies fortitude saves for better stunning blow landing and also reduce target fortification when succeeds), also 2. Dodge feature could be a good idea to take because you probably will be on light armor or robes for evasion most of the time, so you will want to have a decent dodge bonus but also it helps as prereq of stalwart defender prestige (so you will be able to choose between kensai for dps and stalwart for tanking when willing to do so). 3. Shield mastery (very important if you want to use a shield sometimes, remember that it not only adds physical defense but also adds some doublestrike when using a shield, you should know that tanks use doublestrike to cover the lack of offhand weapons). 4. Improved shield mastery (same purpose as 3.) also could take combat expertise instead dodge but it turn off powerattack and you want more dps so dodge could be a better idea in your case.

And finally, remember that tanks lose some dps when using a shield so is important to use all the dps resources as you can llike as said the doublestrike chance, also use guards (yeah, when enemies hit you are doing dps), also you can turn between cleave, great cleave with momentum swing and lay waste using thf on legendary dreadnought destiny for dps with your bastard sword or thf weapon. should take a look at this post for more tanking role info and a S/B tanking/dps build http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=387055

good luck, have fun

12 Fighter/6 Paladin/2 Monk has superb potential. Personally I think having both THF and TWF is a waste of feats. Pick one and build around it.

Also, have you considered how you're going to heal yourself? Empower Heal Spell + 40 Devotion enhancements + Halcyon Boots = 195 Devotion. When you combine that with Rejuvenating Cocoon, it's 90-100 healing per tick with reasonable healing amp.

What's your Stunning Blow DC? Unless it's 60ish, it's not going to be reliable in EE content.

I'd go with DoS I instead of HotD I. You'll be a bit squishy without the 10% HP.

stunning is not something im married to - i dont have to have it. i may drop it. Actually now that i think about, i will only keep it for possibly getting up masters blitz. I wanted hod for the extra healing amp - but may not be neccessary as i get ok amp right now as a pally. i would have the exact same + lil bit more from the past life. I think i hit about 1800 off my unyielding thingee - so that would be 1850 ish i think with the past life.

trying this next then: see if this is better

Thats one way - i took the dragonmarks for intimi bonus and for my chimaras fang. however, i do have other weapons, so taking 3 feats to boost not just one type of weapon but one weapon seems iffy to me.

I could take imp sunder, dodge and either emp healing or mobility for better defenses when im using light armor.
