Renaldo Jackson, 26, and Dewayne Patterson, 35, were arrested for allegedly attempting to steal roughly 26,000 pounds of chicken Jan. 12.

An insider heist ended with Georgia police arresting two men for allegedly attempting to steal $6,500 in frozen chicken wings, according to CBS Atlanta.

Two employees at Nordic Cold Storage, Renaldo Jackson, 26, and Dewayne Patterson, 35, were arrested for allegedly attempting to steal roughly 26,000 pounds of chicken Jan. 12.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the managers at the storage facility told police the two men allegedly loaded 10 pallets of Tyson frozen chicken wings into a rental truck.

The men were arrested Wednesday and charged with one count of felony theft. They were released the same day on $2,950 bond.

The chicken wings themselves are still unaccounted for, the AJC reports.
