Higher level wands as staffs

Very basic idea here. A staff that works like a wand, but is 2-handed and may contain spells up to level 9, and can only be found in chests.

I believe in D&D they call that a rod.

I don't see what the harm, so long as the spells used are chosen carefully.
I'd keep the spells as 6th level or lower.

In 3.5, staffs could contain up to 8th lvl spells

I think this would be a nice addition to randomly generated loot.

Particularly since a staff uses your save DCs.

To be honest that's exactly why I suggested only up to 6th level.
But at the end of the day, I don't care a great deal one way or the other.

It would be interesting if it opened the door for arti's to do some fingering.
