You only get to pick where you start once. Once you've chosen, you have to earn your way into the other destinies. On the bright side, working your way through the destinies will help you gain Fate Points for your Twists.

The more inconvenient Turbine can make the mechanics of the destiny system, the more destiny swaps they're likely to sell from the store...

that is exactly what i was thinking
Why?
When you reincarnate you are not suppose to lose any of the work you did on epic destinies. So at L20 you should have the full set of destinies unlocked that you had before reincarnating.
Just leap-frog over to Grandmaster doing the least work needed to get there.
yes so my barb will be all unlocked but that wont help me .. becasue...... im not going too be a barb so illhave too moveover toohte ranger destiney spend 4 freakin lvs there before i can be a fighter then 3 lvs there then finally when im capped and sick of the toon ill finally get toobe a monk again .. STUPID %$%$%# of A &*&^&*^ s come on neverwinter

First Comment - It seems this comes up at least once a month since EDs became available...
Even if you capped out FotW as in Max XP that is only 1,980,000 of the 3 million xp needed to get to level 25 your barbarian life. So based on your disappointment can I assume you did FotW only and thus did not capitalize on ED xp? What did you think all the XP Farming Quests were for?
I sympathies with your plight as I could see how not being able to access GMoFs right away feels like you have been slighted. But the rules have been there since inception: First Time Unlocking Destinies you get to pick any starting point as long as you have 6 levels in a class that in a sphere.
But instead of looking at this as a lemon, look at what you can squeeze out of it...
4 Levels in Shiradi Champion Coupled with the 5 Levels you already have in FotW means 3 Fate Points when you go into Legendary Dreadnought. 3 Levels of LD and one more fate point.
You are already starting out with the ability to Twist in one Level 1 ability from FotW: Tunnel Vision, Fast Healing, Primal Scream, Bolder Toss, Str/Con
with 3 Fate Points you can do two Level 1 Twists or a single level 2 twist like Injury.
Also for XP purposes it comes out to 1,080,000 + 720,000 = 1,800,000 XP. You will be still rocking Level 23 and be nearly two GMoF levels before you make it to level 24.
So basically you now have your choices you can make.

Personally I lucked out in this regard. Between my last life as a pally where I went up too Unyielding 4 at the startperiod of the release and now, capping my druid life, there have been changes too the ED. Which is what I figure is what caused my ED points too be reset as well as allowing me too reclaim an ED.
So now I have Unyielding Sentinal and Primal Fury unlocked without going through the middle(which I will do eventually anyways).
As for the OP, just get zen archery, maybe manyshot (couple of ranger lvls?), and make use off everything between Fury and Flower. Beyond what is posted above.

What i would do is to choose the order of TR's to work with the ED's. That way i dont have to go through any uselss ones.

I did get lucky once. I took Draconic on a Sorc life. Next life(FVS) I was able to choose a new destiny of my choosing. Was a fluke though because every life since I have not been able to do that. But I do have 2 unlocked spheres out of the deal(well one for each sphere anyway).
