No Epic Fragments in Epic Chest for the the Black Lock

I'm not sure if this is a bug, or if this is meant to be, but we have run this on Epic Hard twice and have found no epic token fragments in the epic chest at the end. We get fragments from killing mobs in the usual way, but none at the end. I am wondering if this is a known bug on hard, or if it is different on normal or elite, or if the quest itself is broken. I could not see anything written about it anywhere. I know a while back some quests were broken on hard, but this didn't appear to be one of them, or maybe it was just missed in the rush to do new stuff. ;)

Anyone else experience this?

On Epic hard there is no guarantee of shards/tokens dropping. I do think that in a party it would be strange that no one got any, but if you are soloing it happens.

Perhaps that quest is bugged, but to be honest I never bother with it. I dont' like any of that chain for epic. Epic Hard Devils assault is pretty nice getting 2 tokens a run. Servants of the Overlord is another that the payoff for tokens is pretty good.

Are you certain of this? I've been running most of the Eberron epics(not Black Loch though) somewhat regularly since full tokens were changed to fragments, almost always on EH, and don't recall ever not getting any fragments. The exception of course are raids which are all or nothing because there are no raid fragments.

Anyway, others have noticed The Black Loch not dropping epic parts since Update 14 and I don't recall any updates or patches since then mentioning a fix, so it's likely still bugged.

Yeap. It has to be a bug and nothing has been done about it.

Also Offering of Blood just gives you one FRAGMENT. that is it. Doesn't matter on difficulty.

We ran all Eberron Epics on Hard and in one we all got zero fragments, and in another we all got 1 fragment.

So I'd say it is more likely bugged dungeons rather than poor luck.

I cant remember which is was that we got them in, but Im pretty sure Black Loch is one ( it was certainly a Sentinels dungeon - and not the one which has no Epic :D ).

I reported this problem through the official bug reporting system many months ago. So far it hasn't even made it to the known issues list which is one reason I stopped reporting bugs. I am not sure that all the bug reports even get processed.

I did an EE OOB yesterday and got 1 full token and 36 fragmants and the rest of the party did not receive the single fragment. I was surprised since I told them that this was happening and I had seen it the week before.

From how I saw this explained. If something is on the know issues list, it means they have all the info they feel they need on it, so no more bug reports are needed. Any bugs not on the list, they want reports for.

Though I can't see how more reports will help with a problem as universally consistent as this seems to be.

Yep, epic Black Loch has dropped no fragments at all since I don't know how long. At least a year.

Well thank you everyone for your replies. It does make me feel better to know it isn't just my bad luck and the whole party I'm with! I do hope this gets fixed sometime, although I can see how it would not be a priority. Doesn't matter if this was a solo or a party, no one got any fragments in the quest. We did of course get xp. Thanks for the tips on where to get tokens, because that is always helpful.

I wonder, do we keep putting in bug reports if any of the details change? Perhaps that is what is needed.

It's bugged, I've bug reported it, after every update I run it once just in the hopes it's not bugged (hunting eMG and would be nice to have another quest to run for variety, I like running it).
