Can we turn off coins from chests?

Dear devs,

is there a chance that we could get a checkbox to turn off gold/silver/copper coins in our chests? I really have no interest in these things and I'm forced to nitpick trough chests so they don't end up in my inventory. Same goes for ice coins that will spawn in the inventory no matter what.

While I do understand that some random person in the harbor will be happy when I dump a load of them that end up in my bags when I'm not paying attention but it irks me to have to waste my time on this.

An option to turn off the annoying things would be very appreciated.

Coins just go straight to bags(therefore take up little inv space), and are worth a good bit of plat, a whole weeks work can be dropped in a few clicks if youre really too lazy to sell or turn in.

Instead, i vote they get rid of non returning throwing weaps that are utterly useless and take up backpack space. With returning throwing weaps available who would keep these?

Arrows and bolts i acually keep (the good ones) although its a huge pain to mule them, bigger stackes with lower droprates sure would be nice for those.

No. Giving them to guildies who get excited about such things is also not too much work.
But... I would much rather not see them at all! Just like cosmetic pets ruins the feeling for some ppl... the festival coins gets on my nerves!

I also don't want Thaumatology staffs for my melee, or bows with Power on them either. Actually, about 95% of things get sold to vendors, just cut down on the total loot by 95% and leave only the useful things.

not sure if u r all trolling or not... its called RANDOM loot u know. if u get to choose what u want and what u dont want in your RANDOM loot chests, then its no longer RANDOM.

In a game with 1476178 collectables, it is unlikely or unwise to not have a collectible bag. Since we are assuming you do have one, and it is set to 'gather all' The true effort is created by your own desire to discriminate against these coins. If you want to not deal with coins, then ignore them until they cease dropping, then you remove 3 stacks of coins from bag and delete or give to someone who can use them. Do not be selfish and lazy in a game where people depend on one another. I might need those coins the same as how you need a bauble. Everyone knows its easier to pull a bauble with a party full of looters. I would not allow looters who gimp their loot rolls by denying things they deem not worthy of dropping. What if someone feels the same about raid loot? Do you really want people who disable loot in your runs? People need you and others to loot items just as you rely on others for your items. Your post effectively reads "I hate the free market and i hate the auction house, make all loot bound to character"

Not just Ice Coins, but also ingredients from Reign of Madness and House Cannith go straight to the inventory.

At least the Festival coins in chests I can just not pick up. Those others, I have no choice about. Having that choice would be awesome.

Those can at least be vendored for a reasonable price... gems, bolts/arrows are worthless :p. I guess there are some wands, scrolls and potions that are worth it. With only 1 bag of inventory space it's not worth picking em up either though.

If they did this I'd only get loot maybe every 100th quest, and have no plat from repairing worn items all the time... :rolleyes:

dear...

if i really would wish something for this game... it would be the flame arrow spell creating 100 returning 1d6 flaming arrows that goes into the quiver, bolt version too...

and the bolt scroll actually creating 1000 bolts into inventory

(i do not play artificier or ranger right now, but still wish these changes :D) forget about the coins !

Just pick another person in the party and give them to that person and make a freind. Especially if it's a newbie, which would make it an especially nice gesture. Or leave them in the chest. MOst of us would rather see them coding bug issues and new content rather than an on/off for the coins, which you can choose to not be bothered with by leaving them in the chest if you don't want them.
