LR buggged !!!!!!! , waste of money !!!!

So i just spent 20 dollars for some points to buy a lesser . Then i use the lesser then i start redoing my character just so i can relocate some skill points !!! Minor thing to waste hard earned money on ! But what the heck .

As im choosing feats i started to question why i couldn't choose certain ones after taking the same path as before to lvl 25 , By the time i knew it i was lvl 20 and my build was all screwed All BECAUSE THE GAME DID NOT REMEMBER THAT I ATE 6+4 TOMES thank you turbine for screwing me . Ill be sure to call tomorow .

That's odd, and a bug if it happened. I've LR'ed more times than I care to admit and my tomes have ALWAYS been applied at the proper levels.

If that ends up being the cause of your building messing up, I'm hopeful they can work with you to resolve it.

I had this happen. it took a log off and log back on to fix it... I assume one could log off at level 3 if you notice the first +1 from the tomes didn't take effect.

I never did ask the devs to fix my guy since I plan on TRing him again soon.

Put in a ticket, and maybe they'll give you another LR.

Yea, tomes not re-applying is a known issue.

I had to log off and log on, too. never checked about the tomes but I noticed with spells alot. I had to literally disconnect from the game and wait about 10 minutes before relogging abck on. Annoying but workable.

Were you trying to take feats at levels where the you thought you would have all +4 added to the stat but it would be such as at lvl 7 you would only have +2 added not the entire +4 ?

Yeah i relogged , fixed the tome issue ! Still lost out on skill points and still had to use one of my flawless and mess up my feat order which is a pita on a 6/2/12 monkcher build .

Can't stuff ever work the way it's supposed too !! never a dull moment in this game i swear ! Guess ill wait another two years for the enhancement pass to come through so i can lr back to a 20 ranger if they actually become viable again . Prob just another vanilla split though " I watched the monk use 10k twice in between manyshot so i put down my bow , He's the real archer in the game ! "

Ive finally realized throughout these hard felt moments that the rangers niche is that they have no niche .

Way to derail my own thread , but long felt frustrations come out in my weaker state of mind .

No i was trying to take ips but i only had 16 dex since my tomes weren't active .

OMG, you justexplained what happened to me this weekend! I had to shuffle a couple things and couldn't figure out why. I "lost" a bonus feat choice because of it, but I'll deal with it. At least I know how to prevent it in the future.

And I'm with OP - why can't things work as intended instead of requiring checking forums, wiki, release notes, patch notes, compendium, and the library of congress before every step in building a character? Quality of life my eye.

I think we all misinterpreted what the quality of life improvements were supposed to do...
Between the amount of raid timer by-passes, Ottos irresistible boxes and now midwinter admissions that have sold/are selling; I'm thinking someone at Turbine has had some good "quality of life" improvements ;)

Seriously though, this recent trend of releasing unpollished/broken content that also manages to break something that was previously working; then breaking something else when fixing either the flawed release or the thing it broke... Yikes...

It's like they're taking parts of the transmition to fix the engine, they don't fit right and in the end the car still won't run right...
