Experience difference

Hello, I need some help figuring what is going wrong here.
I am duoing everything with my gf druid, we are level 7 atm, and we went every quest together from lvl 1 till now, not any of use went to do a SINGLE quest on his own. We always get the ship exp shrine and buffs together.
And somehow, I'm constantly pulling more and more ahead in exp ?!? Atm the number is at 7k exp in my favor, growing and growing, how is this happening ?

Some things about our duo.
I have a premium account (bought 32p build 3 years ago, no tome no nothing). Im a dwarf battlecleric trapper.
2 things crossed my mind, but premium account gains no extra exp, and when I solve the traps the whole party gains exp.

Gf is a free account druid (bought druid pack, that did not give her premium account).

How am I constantly getting ahead in exp here ?

Are either of you using XP pots? Either looted or bought from the store?

The wife and I normally end up on differing XP amounts due to one or the other of us having a pot run out without noticing (normally its me)

Or either Voice of the Master (Trinket from Delares) or Mantle of the World Shaper (Cloak from threanl). Unlikely on the last two with the level you've stated but still worth checking.

As Garix said, xp pots or the voice of the master/mantle of the worldshaper can provide a difference in xp. Also, if you have used a tome of learning/greater learning and she hasn't that would also account for the difference.

Two other possiblities:
* Quest re-entry penalties apply only to the character who re-entered the quest.
* Kills which register in the Monster Manual give extra XP at certain milestones.

I havent used an xp pot, neither did she, i dont have any of those 2 items, and as I said no tomes or anything.
Neither of us used any XP boost pot/tome or whatever AT ALL during our game time, so we can rule that out for sure. We only used exp shrines on the guild ship, and we always go to get ship buffs together.

Re-entries never happened so far. And about Monster Manual kills, dont we both get those if we are on the same quest ?

Has your GF died in quests that you didn't and lost her ship buffs?

Is you slayer experience the same, i.e. do you have the same amount of kills/explore points/rares?

If u are lv 7 u should be at least at 200.000 xp point on a first life and so your gf.
Assuming u've 3%shrine on your ship boat that's 7000 xp roughly.
Maybe your gf is dying a lot more than u in quests and she's losing her Xp shrine buff?

And as cableman said: what about explorer in wild areas?
Even if u run together u both have to run into the explorer to get the xp achieved, is not like an "in-quest" optional that's is scored for both of u once acquired.
If u get an explorer and she run 2 feets away from u maybe she doesn't trigger the explorer area xp.

Mosnter manual Kills will apply to both - however I believe that a free account doesn't have the same automatic access as a premium account so that may account for the differences

This is true.

The Prologue is free for everyone and Volume 1 is free to Premium and VIP, not free players. You can find the the wiki page here (http://ddowiki.com/page/Monster_Manual) to see which monsters are in the different volumes.

Kobolds are in volume 1, which right there would give you more xp at lower levels.

Yea i figured monster manual is not all free. I will check the difference made by it and explorer in open areas, maybe it will add up.

There was maybe 3 deaths so far, 1 was wipe and 2 times only I died, so Im sure losing ship buffs wasnt it, if anything she should have more exp than me that way.

Ill check the monster manual and explorer on both accounts when I get home, hopefully that will solve the mistery.
