Just a post to vent on something that happened to me the other day.
Was out in the Sands with my L13 Arti working on slayer. Standing on top of a dune happily killing undead when a mummy (I think it was) pops up. I back off 10 feet or so, so I can get a clean shot and let my hire Bard and Iron defender engage when all of a sudden the thing reaches between the front 2, hits me, and boom I'm dead! Like i said in the leader "whats up with that?"

so what exactly is your deathblock item?

common newbie mistakes include confusing deathward clicky for deathblock, in which case dispel -> death

or you have some swap in item for the same slot and forgot to swap back?

Just checked my Arti and he has the Cloak of Night from Mabar Festival with Deathblock on it but, yeah I forgot I swaped it out for a Cloak of Protection +5 for a dungeon I did before going to the Sands. Don't I feel stupid now!:o

Don't I feel stupid now!:o LOL, over the last 6+ years, I've died from gear switches or the lack of probably 1,000 times :eek::o . Most people claim..... It was lag.. blah blah blah... Bug, blah blah blah blah...

But it happens.. :D
