Planar Focus hidden effect?

A guildie said with Twilight and Planar Conflux when they removed litany and equipped the +3 int erudition her int stayed the same (with +3 int on spidersilk equipped I am assuming).

Does the conflux give a +1 int like litany?

planar focus is +3 insight litany is +1 profane. so if you remove that profane and replace it with that 1 EXTRA insight it will remain the same.

No hidden effect as far as i've seen. With all the added bonus's around now it's easy to get confused as to what stacks and where they all came from. You sure they had +3 spidersilk and not +2 elsewhere?
