My puzzle!!!!!

So this morning I joined a dream conspiracy farm group.

We got to the end and I'm solving the puzzle, and I'm literally FIVE FREAKING MOVES AWAY FROM BEING FREAKING DONE AND THIS ******* STEALS MY FREAKING PUZZLE. WITHOUT ASKING TO DO THE PUZZLE.

So, then I start telling him what he just did is really rude, and if he does that people are going to dislike him.......he then starts to tell me stop whining. Stop whining? after you stole my freaking puzzle? NO!

HE THEN TAKES 20. FREAKING. MINUTES. to solve the puzzle, when I had only taken 5 to almost finish it.

At the end I tell him "congrats for taking 20 minutes longer than you needed to" to which he replied that he didn't need to listen to some punk ass kid whine, and how I could be patient. Holy ****. This just boggles my mind how anyone could be such a ******bag.

So I dropped group, and instead of just putting DNG beside his name on my friends list, I squelched him for being completely beligerent about stealing my puzzle.

THIS ANGERS ME SO MUCH. STEALING MY PUZZLE WILL MAKE ME HATE YOU. I have now added a line to that characters bio, and will be doing it for all my characters "If you touch my puzzle without asking, I will hate you."

If he had asked, and said "Oh I think I can solve it, can I try?" I would have been like sure! or no! I'm almost done!, but atleast that way he would have ASKED.

Unfortunately it came to me as a rage quit in a shroud. Some one stole my puzzle 3 steps from being finished so I greased the puzzle, typed in "NOW SOLVE IT" and rage quit. If I ever do it again, I wont rage quit, I'll laugh. I'm on meds now.

LOL, that is even better since he wouldn't be able to see hte puzzle. what you did wrong, was you were supposed to stay there and keep using grease on the puzzle as grease wore off so he couldnt solve it, and cause a wall wipe. :D

When situations like that happen, people can get defensive and their only way to respond is with rage and unpleasntries. People sometimes have a hard time admitting they did something wrong. It happens a lot in this game.

I think a little politeness is called for in the issue of doing puzzles. Ask someone if they need help with their puzzle. If they say they need help, then help them. If they say they don't need help, don't force your help on them. Believe it or not, other people are not stupid!

The real trouble is with those folks who are so impatient that they cant let you solve the puzzle in the few minutes it takes to get it done. Ive read other threads about practicing etc so you can get faster but honestly I am not going to devote a lot of time to practicing these things, I have a life and family and play the game for this crazy thing I call enjoyment.
The same people who insist on solving your puzzles are the same (insert preferred derogatory name) who complain that they ran a shroud and 7 people couldnt solve their own puzzles. Its one or the other, either let us solve the thing or dont complain cuz noone else can do it as fast as you. Perhaps you should apply your awesome memory skills to something useful that could make you some money like card counting in vegas or beating the 3 card monty game on the cardboard box on the corner.

I personally dont mind if I wipe in a shroud it happens, the quest goes so quickly these days that you might be out 10 whole minutes.

I wont rant any further but I agree with the OP and other posters who feel that a little courtesy is sadly needed in the game. If Im solving puzzle leave me alone unless I ask for help. If Im standing still that doesnt mean Im dc'd I might just be thinking or putting it into a solver.

I would love if the devs could put a timer on the lock so that you couldnt open the door for 5 min to give us all time to solve the puzzle unless opened from the inside.

heh people having patience in this game. no never. that is so unheard of. Kobolds will strike. ham will spoil Tempest spine will run with rats. lol


Ok honestly people have really lost their ways with games. They turn into xp per min freaks. They forget what the game was all about. Being most uber and easy buttons for all. low tolerance for all and zero patience for the win.

Honestly unless i ask for someone's help on a puzzle. i dont want them touching it. you want to mess it up. ill ruin your mood like grease dancing you not letting you recall because you couldn't wait a second for me to solve it or ask for help.

Funnily enough I had taken 5 minutes to get to where I was on the puzzle, and this guy interupts me, steals my puzzle, completely changes it, then takes 20 minutes to solve the puzzle.

And he was looking at the long layout on a solver. HE WAS USING A ****ING SOLVER AND TOOK LONGER THAN I DID GOING BY MY OWN ABILITY TO SOLVE PUZZLES!!!!!!
