I haven't checked on Lama. Have all cookies had their properties changed like usual, or are there just new ones for the FR? And if there are new ones, do they fit in the cookie jar, or does the jar need an update like last year.

As usual, some planes of alignment have shifted closer or further away, so some cookies get better, some get worse, some stay the same. Oh those wacky planes of existence!

FR cookies will go in the jar, and should fit in existing jars too.

As best I can tell (may have missed one or two), these are the cookies that changed this year:
Lamannia- From Spike Growth to Vigor
Queen Lailat- From Burning Blood to Blade Barrier
Shavrath- From Blade Barrier to Enchanted Armor
Suulomades- From FOM to Shocking Weapon

New Cookies (I do not have these. I am depending on the cookie jar description):
Spinner of Shadows- Enveloping Swarm
Lolth Spider Queen- +2 profane bonus to attack and damage, +3 PRR and +5 universal spell power
Spiderweb cookie- Spiderskin

Question - it says 20% Epic, +2 loot and 15% normal XP from tomorrow through beginning of January. Is that a new deal (say 20% this weekend and +2 Loot the next) every weekend or all of these through December?

Mine dont normally make it to the cookie sheet until enough have gone from the mixing bowl to my mouth to make me feel full. :D

I was thinking the same thing. But mine aren't changed. I took some out of the jar and they didn't change. Might only be the new cookies or when the new ones are put into the jar.

So, after running a few quests tonight, I have to come a conclusion. Either the coins don't drop in FR content at all, or they don't drop in the U16 chain for some reason.

If it weren't for the fact that I pulled some on one of my lowbie alts earlier today, and the festivult advert says that the coins will start dropping today, you might have a point. Also, the OP says the jester will be here soon, and that coins are in chests now.

It would be nice if they were all running every weekend. It's Christmas.

Why not try to give everyone what they want when they can play? There will xper's not able to play on the weekend[s] chosen due to real life holiday scheduling conflicts and everyone enjoys a loot boost whenever.

So many people are going with less and less every year. Why not step up and give a little more to those that give to you. ;)

I agree. I would love to take advantage of the epic xp boost this weekend but the lack of coins in FR is forcing me to decide which I want more :(

One additional note: not only are Festivult coins in the quest chests, I have firsthand knowledge that they are also available in Challenge Supply Crates.
Just another option once you've finished abusing Haverdasher, Irestone Inlet, et al.

Don't see the point of that.. Yea I can get maybe the festivult is an ebberon thing.. But lore-wise, special coins magically appearing in chest only on X days doesn't make sense either way.

So for the purposes of balanced gameplay, they really should drop in all chests imo.

They are out of game keys given out in special events. EG: Pax, Beta events on lammania, etc.

You put the key in your myturbine account, log in and talk to carpenee, he give you your reward.

The reward will vary based on the event. Last one I got was for participating in lamannia, and it was just some xp potions/loot jewels. Previous ones included pets and other nonsense.
