what level of Perform am I shooting for at 20+ levels

Right now on my level 22 spellsinger I have a 42 charisma and a 74 perform with gear and ship buffs.

DO I need to find ways to get my perform higher or is that going to be ok?

What are the ways I can get it higher?

I currently wear the spider silk robes with insightful charisma +3, a +6 charisma items and a perform +15 item. In a couple more levels I can get a +8 cha item but what else can I do to improve it?

Above 60 is generally good. Things still save on a 20, and if you get to the point where they are generally only saving on a 20, any more is kinda overkill. Doesn't hurt - no idea what the high-water mark is for will saves on fascinate-able mobs.

Thanks for the response. This bard is mostly for haggle/chest blessing/party buffing/minor healing duties/and constant singing. So having a good fascinate is one more support role that can help out.

The catch with perform if DC's are what you are looking at would be the fact that spells DC's for casters need to be relevant. Since it is so easy to outstrip spell DC's fascinate DC's tend to be easy to hit.

On your spell singer the perform skill affects the mass DV proc so a bit more might help in that regard but I don't know the actual formula.

Epic shimmering pendant is +20 instead of +15 if you can slot that in as needed.
