Guys I know what happened.

They took the armour from the female armour kit crotches, and put it on the shoulders of armour with pauldrons.

amiright?

P.S. I hate pauldrons

I'd hit it if the AC wasn't so high.

I like pauldrons, so long as they're not the same size as a kitchen sink.

Pauldrons cover the shoulder area and are larger than spaulders.

It's a little known fact that the pauldrons are detachable and can be used for carrying water, or boiling it over the campfire when making soup.

Also, it's a well documented fact that the less that female armor covers, the higher the wearer's charisma-based skills.

The problem with the pauldrons is that they seem to be floating about 6 inches above the shoulders. If they sat down where they were supposed to be, maybe they wouldn't be so hideous. (Maybe)

The pauldrons in this game seem to be designed to be used as an emergency stovepipe in case you need to build a fire in an enclosed space.

Armor Kits... Turbine needs to make money after all, and I guess if you are not willing spend a few TP to look cool, you don't deserve to. :p

I actually like the Pauldrons on certain characters - My Drow {male} Stalwart for instance!

Plus being a real piece of Armour I like the fact that they've been added to the game!

However I'm disappointed that the devs seemingly decided that Every Single piece of Random Loot Heavy Armour should have the exact same - Ridiculously large - Pauldrons!

I'm not averse to buying Armour Kits - I'm VIP and still spend £20 plus every fortnight buying points so don't have to worry about TP!
BUT it would be nice if more in-game armours could be different enough to appeal to the vast range of Subjectivity in the DDOGamer population!

As for Xena - Great Body - Just a pity about the face in my view - I've never particularly found her good looking even if I'm in the vast minority!

I bet you are one of the few guys that actually realize she has a face...j/k.

And I don't really mind pauldrons, but the size/shape/floating issue are a big issue.

The crotchless female armor, though, I mind. I think that all armor should look the same on a female as a male...if there is material missing from the female version, the male needs to be showing the same skin. That would result in many different coverage options really fast.

^ THIS!

Nothing makes me rage more than seeing a really nice armor kit on a female toon, and then when I try the same kit on my male toon (with the same base armor) it looks totally worse.

For example: most of the armor kits for robes show skin on female toons. On males the same kits look like witer coats. VVTF -_-

We men are so ugly no-one WANTS to see skin showing. It would be blubbery and warty most likely
