I'm pretty sure this is the price of ALL the shared bank upgrades. They've just added a couple more than there used to be. I imagine that they know exactly how well the other 4 upgrades have sold so they must do pretty well at that price. (I have all of them but I wait for sales)

The price is for convenience, not the actual bit storage for your stuff. Isn't that the whole modus operandi for this store thing?

Extra storage will sell in droves at that price like all the bank upgrades before. It's the one sure cash cow for Turbine. Que the take my money picture...
And also... Krakout!

I actually agree with the OP.
Some of the prices in the DDO Store make me scratch my head, and shared bank expansion is one of the prime examples. I bought the shared bank, and I would like to have more space in my bank, but analysis of the cost tells me that my Turbine Points are better spent elsewhere.
My solution has been to find ways to maximize the use of the shared slots I do have. Bags to hold stuff that will go in bags, just not keeping stuff that isn't dreadfully hard to get, stuff like that. I restrict myself pretty severely when it comes to spending money on my own entertainment. Makes it way easier to say no to the kids. :)

Feel it is too expensive, don't buy it. Hit Turbine where it hurts, otherwise no sense in worrying
about it. If others are buying it, then Turbine will continue to sell it .....

I can see how this is used as cash cow and its cool.
Everyone wants to make money but 10slots?
10slots is like saying: sorry, we still use punch-cards for data storage.
step1: Make it 40 slots for 495
step2: up to 99 times available.
step3: ???
even more Profit
That would be convenient

No one should be complaining about the price of the upcoming 20 expansion slots for the shared bank.
They can not even purchase them unless they already purchased the initial 40 expansion slots at exactly the same price.

Thats the worst council to give.
If you dont like something then speak up!
But on the other side if woman would have followed your council
they would still be in the kitchen and make delicious sandwiches.
Oh well, i can live without a sandwich and the world would be to boring :D

so, the OP's opinion is that the storage unit of DDo is VERY reliable and adaptale. Plus it is easy to use. Good to know

I loved my C64. But yeah, it's a bit ridiculous that a few shared bank slots costs more than an adventure pack, I'm sure I'll end up buying it anyway though. One of them took weeks/months of work, the other was probably something like /makesharedbanksize+10
