View Full Version : DDO store in-game issue

For days now, when I open the DDO store I get a white screen with the message 'Error: Tunnel Connection Failed" Anyone else seeing this? Anyone know how to fix that? Is it a port issue with my machine?

That sounds like a temporary server-side issue. But if the condition persists you could try the following (disclaimer - I accept no responsibility if the universe implodes as a result - instructions assume basic windows knowledge):

Find your ddo installation folder, cut the "browser" folder and paste it on the desktop or elsewhere as a backup that can be deleted once the issue is fixed, or restored if not.

Find your (My) Documents folder and the "Dungeons and Dragons Online" folder within it. Locate, backup and open the UserPreferences.ini file. Under [WebBrowser] set InitialConfigDone=False

Start the game, it will re-download the browser component on finding it missing and do the initial config based on the ini setting. Once in game, check all the browser functionality (MyDDO, DDO Store and Help). Exit the game and reset the InitialConfigDone=True value in the UserPreferences.ini file if not already done by the game.

Not sure if that will help or not but it fixed the in game DDO Store for me.

I've had it happen a few times. I just close the window and reopen the store.
