View Full Version : Farming epic tokens

It has been a while since I had a character ready to TR due to limited play time but I have one there now (pm wiz). The thing that has frustrated me is how long it is taking me to get to 20 epic dungeon tokens. I can easily solo many of the EN quests but find EH quite difficult on solo. As I'm sure you know, the current rewards in dungeon tokens for soloing EN are pitiful.
I would love some help putting together a solid strategy or ideas for getting my 20 tokens as quickly and painlessly as possible. I have heard that you can get them farming challenges (?) but do not know how this is done so help there would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Definitely farming epic Cannith challenges.
Any of the epic ingredients can be traded 300:1 for epic tokens and (5:1 for token fragments) at the same traders you would get the gear at.
Time is Money and Buying Time are generally the "go-to" challenges, since they have 5 minute durations and can be completed solo with a little practice. There are several good guides on these forums, as well as youtube walkthroughs.
Those are considered the "best" token per minute runs, but you can try the other Cannith challenges, and find the ones that are the easiest for you to get a decent score. Again, search the forums and youtube for walkthroughs and guides.
Alternatively, Devil Assault gives 1-2 full tokens on EN for about half an hour's work. It can be soloed, but an lfm for it will usually fill up fairly quickly.

I also want to point out that if you are using daily tokens to do this, rather than being vip or owning the pack, you may want to find challenges that give a better investment per token rather than time.
You can get more overall ingredients per run from Time is Money and Buying Time by actually going ahead and buying time. I usually buy time twice, but if i see enough purples still around, i sometimes buy more.
Stay away from Short Cuts if you are soloing.

Devil Assault also isn't too bad. You usually get 2 epic tokens per run on EH plus other good loot.

Devil Assault. Find a group, keep some dancing balls in the middle and finger some mobs. EH is easy.
Also, there are always groups in VoN3 farming XP destinies. It is usually fast and If you only need tokens, don't need to worry about repetition penalties.
Solo... Learn to do big top, bob and claw as fast as possible. They don't give many fragments, but can be done in a few minutes using invis (and you can get some seals, shards, etc)
