Need Some Ideas for a Couple of "Flavor Builds"

Recently I acquired a ML 24 Liviewood Core docent and a ML24 Firebreak half-plate.

Thematically, the Livewood Core docent would seem to fit well with a WF Druid but it seems to me it would fit well with a WF Monk or any other WF toon that desires a fairly high AC.


The Firebreak half-plate, however, puzzles me. I suppose a Paladin could be a good choice but my DoS is already using Epic Cavalry Plate so that's pretty much out. What other class (and theme) would you all think would go well with Firebreak? I'm looking for something creative so please keep that in mind if you answer.

How about a melee artificer? Oh, a druid/barbarian bear form build would be interesting, too.

This would be a cool idea if there were more dragons in DDO and if Rangers got Heavy Armor proficiency.

Hmm.... well, in that case how about an elven/half-elven fire savant sorcerer combat mage (12+ sorcerer, x fighter)? Fire Savant... Firebreak... it fits! :D

(btw...wouldn't a Water Savant Sorc fit better thematically? I see a Cold-using guy getting attacked by fire more so Firebreak would protect better, right?)

But it's called "Firebreak", not "Waterbreak". *shrugs*
