It seems that for some mysterious reason, when I go to eveningstar to get a daily challenge token, then warp through space and time back to my home realm of ebberon, the challenge vendor in House Cannith seems to think she gave me a token (or tokens, rather) even though I never spoke to her and it's been more than a day since I even did so.

My question to the developers regarding the issue of getting challenge tokens from vendors is this: "WAI or bug?"

I'm pretty sure they're both just a part of the same system. One challenge token per day, which can be used on any challenge.

The Challenge Token "Universe" encompasses Eveningstar and House Cannith.

We are given one Universal token per day.

A magic "tracer" is put on each challenge token so that a simple Detect Magic spell will tell a Challenge token vendor if you've received a token already that day. This was put into place by the Interdimensional Multiverse Challenge Equality Committee after a certain wizard was caught using 10th level magic to visit all the Material planes for challenge tokens.

Or "something something dilithium crystals something something game balance something something developers".
