this probably has been suggested before, but i REALLY hope they will make a PvP chat channel, or any channel that will take the PvP out of the harbor. I have nothing against the PvP'ers as such, but the boasting does wear on my nerves after a while. And yes, i know that i could always turn general chat off in the harbor, but i want to be able to give advice to new palyers whenever im around, and a lot of them dont always use advice.

So a way to keep the PvP chat in the pit would be nice

Most prolly still wouldn't use it, or else they already would be.

Making the pits into entirely separate chat zones would be perfect.

As a PvPer I too want this.

Thought PvPers would like it as well, i know a lot of people complain in general about it, which probably is not much fun

Yes please. Annoying to hear two 12 year-olds arguing over who Pwned the other first. Worse still, we have a limited amount of space in our squelch list.

Congrats pvpers, you do 1000s of damage to mobs that have 1000s of HP. - You do 1000s to players who have at most ~2000 HP. PVP is so silly in ddo. 1-2 shots then general chat is filled with insults and crying.
