I'm sure there have been threads about this before, but I'm not going to search 500 pages of suggestions looking for them just to put in my two cents. I have a couple ideas for Prestiges for existing classes that I think would be worthwhile:

Barbarian: Wilderness Warrior. Not all Barbarians are Berzerkers. There's no reason I can think of that the only prestige for a barb should be a raging damage machine. Think of aboriginal cultures around the world. There are plenty of tough, uncivilized men out there who have other survival talents. This prestige would be the Barb version of a tank, where the emphasis is on Damage Reduction and Physical Resistance rather than DPS. Yes, he would still hit hard, but he would basically be a lightly armored 'tank' that gains the ability to sneak (due to the light armor), swim, and jump a little better than your average metal-clad meat shield.

Artificer: Technomancer. This is an arti who focuses on BUILDING THINGS (what a concept!). He can select options for changing his pet into a mount suitable for the terrain (bird, dolphin, or dog with saddle for ex).

Artificer: Battlemaster II. This arti has developed techniques for surviving when the walls are finally breached and he's surrounded by foes. Defensive Fullisade is similar to Endless Fullisade except that the artificer spins in place (similar to Cleave or Whirlwind Attack) and fires in all directions for a few seconds. Paired with a Flame turret, this can get you out of a jam in a hurry. The duration of the Defensive Fullisade should be shorter, but it should still fire more than three rounds.

The enhancement pass is being worked on, and is scheduled for sometime early (ish) 2013, supposedly. PrEs will be completely filled out, and many will probably be very different from their current incarnations.

As for PrEs that don't exist yet, they are already planned:

Prestige En (http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt283/itsapuzzle/01101010.jpg?t=1243551705)hancements planned over the next few modules are:

Barbarian: Frenzied Berserker, Occult Slayer, Ravager
Bard: Spellsinger, Virtuoso, Warchanter
Cleric: Exorcist of the Silver Flame, Radiant Servant, Warpriest
Favored Soul: Divine Avenger, Beacon of Hope, Angel of Vengeance
Fighter: Kensai, Purple Dragon Knight, Stalwart Defender
Monk: Henshin Mystic, Shintao Monk, Ninja Spy
Paladin: Defender of Siberys, Hunter of the Dead, Knight of the Chalice
Ranger: Arcane Archer, Deepwood Sniper, Tempest
Rogue: Assassin, Mechanic, Thief-Acrobat
Sorcerer: Acolyte of the Skin, Air Savant, Cold Savant, Earth Savant, Fire Savant
Wizard: Archmage, Pale Master, Wild Mage

Note that artificer and druid aren't on here, since this post is 4 years old, but rest assured those PrEs were planned (or atleast their names and general theme were planned) since the classes first existed.

Yes, and they're called Rangers.

As Brennie has already said the enhancement pass which is supposed to carry every PrE with it its slated for early(ish) 2013 but thats actually the date its planned to land on Lammania not live than its planned to stay there for an extended period (standard period for lama is a month or two)

Ravager probably the closest to this for planned Barb PrEs, there's also Occult Slayer which is kind of your Anti-Magic Barb

Artificer: Technomancer. This is an arti who focuses on BUILDING THINGS (what a concept!). He can select options for changing his pet into a mount suitable for the terrain (bird, dolphin, or dog with saddle for ex).

The closest to this is probably master maker...except the mount bit, mounts are pointless in DDO

Sidenote: Judging from Tempest example the devs are adding abilities from PrEs into the 3 planned PrEs so it is a good time to suggest additions to certain PrEs from other SIMILAR PrEs
