I want to Power level the Vale slayer. Now I want to know roughly how many Lammnians there are in each instance and the same for Shavarath. And if there is any fast method to squeeze out the slayers. By the way, the party will be composed of a lvl 19 AA ranger, lvl 19 Human necro wizard, 14WF FVS hire and WF fighter hire-19. I chose lvl 14 cos he can do melee and healing.
There are around 200 of each.
What I normally do is what I call the spider round up.
Down the ramp and run around the water's edge then over where Puku (rare) spawns
and around that area until I have a nice dungeon alert. Kill em all then Puku if he is up then check the spider ambush.
Then check to see if the rare is in the corner past the pillar, then over to Jukree (rare spider).
Then i head back to Meridia repair and its off to the devils side.
For that I jump off the bridge get our of the water at the 2 trogs and run up gathering scops, trolls, devils and all and gather them around the bowl (explorer) by the coal chamber and beat them down.
Then I gather as many as I can on the other side of the coal chamber and get me another alert around where the rare portal spawns and beat em down. I was on Smigit and he got to level21 that way.
He did have 125% fort and over 850hp.
I was so bored one day that I was even doing the shav side just using a shield.
It was funny I was in party with a guild member and we were chatting.
He was in the lobster in PVP while I was shield bashing.
That is how I solo that slayer with a hireling anyway.
In a group we normally split up. Goes much faster that way.

Always gather a large group and kill em all at once.
Split up your group: spiders/Shav/gnollville
Or the super boring (but pretty darn fast) way:
One group goes to bats, the other goes to the spider ambush. Wash, rinse repeat.

There's a few "favorite routes", but since you end up making a full lap either way you go is fine.
A lot of people just do the rare's tour and reset the instance, rather than comb for all the mobs on the sides.
You can specially ignore the western half of shavarath, you can just check the rares around coal's hill and reset.
Cleaning just a side of the map is not too different to do the full rare's tour.
The vale is interestingly balanced, you may find your lap times pretty stable.
(say, an hour solo, half in group, or less, just to put an example)
The xp per hour is fairly stable through all the slayer goals, which is as good as it gets for a slayer area.
The only pitfall is that you'll basically commit to several runs when trying to reach the upper marks.

If you are just trying to get slayers and not worried about rares. send one group to the fiendish bat swarm rare and one to the crimson foot hive rare, recall, repeat.
