Amaunator Handwraps

As of today, Kroth Mak, the lvl 24 Eveningstar challenge vendor, will not take Amaunator Handwraps for trade in / deconstruction. These are lvl 24 versions purchased from him moments before.

Filing a bug report, but was curious if others were having the same trouble with other items.

So I haven't seen this issue addressed in any of the upcoming release notes, or added to the known issues list. Could this get looked at? Seems like it should be a pretty simple fix, considering it began when some text changes were made at the challenge vendor last update ...

Data point:

It used to work. I remember when they first added it and handwraps (and shields) were unbound, I picked up a couple cheap in the AH just to decon. They deconned fine.

So it was something that broke vs. something that never worked in the first place.


A stealth revert is always possible, I guess just check back after every update.

Another problem with handwraps.....

Who would have thought.

Vendor them and find another pair or re-roll non-UA toon.

Monk is my favored class to play.

And OF COURSE has the most issues with it's preferred weapon.

Sorry to say it OP but there is virtually no chance of Turb doing anything to fix this HW issue.

With the exception of twinking a lowbie monks get the elfing shaft when it comes to cannithly crafting HW.

As of U16, this seems to be fixed. I was able to trade my handwraps in for ingredients, which I was unable to do before.
