Ran into the Hag's Prize where there is name guessing and succeeded but failed. As mentioned before there is a spoiler alert here. I am posting it here because my bug report did not give me a thank you/confirmation for reporting a bug.

Dialog for the encounter was as follows:

(NPC): Forest Hag tells you, 'And who could this be? Comes right to me. A bold one, truly!

To approach *my* flame. Don't know it's name. Ah, what a shame!'
(NPC): You tell Forest Hag, 'What have you done to *him*?'
(NPC): Forest Hag tells you, 'He played and lost. The coin was tossed. He payed the cost! Ha ha ha.
Now he's my pet. To pay his bet. His fate is set.

It's name I still don't know. The fire's growing low. Will it stay or will it go?'
(NPC): You tell Forest Hag, 'Why in the world would I stay?'
(NPC): Forest Hag tells you, 'My favorite game! I'll guess your name. You do the same.
If you guess me - My pet I'll free. I'll let you be.

If yours I guess... Then that's the best! I win more pets.'
(NPC): You tell Forest Hag, 'All right. I'll play your game.'
(NPC): Forest Hag tells you, 'You guess first. You'll do worst. It's for fair games that I thirst.'
(NPC): You tell Forest Hag, 'Does it start with an M?'
(NPC): Forest Hag tells you, 'An M? Why yes. How did you guess?

Now... what is yours. Could it be... Rum Stumple Trinker?'
(NPC): You tell Forest Hag, 'Close, but not quite, I'm afraid.'
(NPC): Forest Hag tells you, 'Very well, very well! I know I'll get it. Don't know when. Now guess again.'
(NPC): You tell Forest Hag, 'Is it a very short name?'
(NPC): Forest Hag tells you, 'Eh? How'd you guess? I confess. The answer's yes.
Now I will guess yours. What about... Wilhelminnowette?'
(NPC): You tell Forest Hag, 'Uh... nope.'
(NPC): Forest Hag tells you, 'I've almost got it. I think I've thought it. Fail this guess and then you've bought it!'
(NPC): You tell Forest Hag, 'Is it Mogs?'
(NPC): Forest Hag tells you, 'That's my name! One and the same! You've won our game! And so you get - My little pet - now from here, get!'
(NPC): You tell Forest Hag, 'And now you'll free him?'
(Standard): <rgb=0x00FFFFFF><rgb=0x00FFFFFF>You receive a Commendation: War Wizards for completing the encounter.</rgb></rgb>
(Advancement): FAILED: Free the War Wizard

I'm guessing this particular War Wizard suffered from Stockholm Syndrome. Either that or he is very very very annoying and by winning him, I actually lost. He seemed to do impersonations of the hag, so that may just be the case.

It's apparently not always Mogs...

Yes. It is not always Mogs. However; there is a question that determines of the name is short or long. Mogs is the correct choice if she says short and her first name begins with an M.

I have "completed" this rare numerous times with different names. I get a War Wizards commendation and a quest failure for succeeding at guessing her name correctly. So I guess it is a push.
