So, if this has already been answered, my bad. But I want to discuss it either way, so here goes.

I actually think the new destiny that Fernando discussed here:

High level players can look forward to a brand new Epic Destiny for the Primal sphere called the “Primal Avatar”.

will be bought individually.

AND, unlike the doom and gloomers, "OMG we're being nickle and dimed for everything" I actually think this is a good thing.

Let me explain.

If we're forced to buy it individually, then that means it would be POSSIBLE to buy each destiny on an individual basis, and at some point all destinies can be sold that way, giving the "casual" or just objects to the X-pac players at least one destiny if they so choose. Which is very powerful, even without the possibility of a few fun twists.

Just wanted to see what you all thought.

I would bet they include it as part of the epic destinies product that currently sells for 995 TP or which was included in various motu bundles. So those who already have epic destinies will get it "for free", those who do not yet have epic destinies must still buy in for 995.

While I'd like a broad ala cart approach where each destiny cost, say, only 95 TP, it makes more financial sense for Turbine to bundle it all, and get the income in 995 sized chunks. It is probably marginally easier to program as well since you don't need to track individual destinies being on/off, it's all or nothing.

The worst case scenario would be for them to sell a "base set" of destinies for 995 and then call this new one a premium destiny or some such and charge another 295 TP. Can't rule something like that out but my bet is for bundling with the existing 995 product.
