my Conc Op rarely procs - just 4 procs in a Coal run for example!
Considering the cost, they dont really seem that good value.
Anyone else get such low procs

The proc chance is 4% for one of those (HP or SP) to happen. I'd still keep it because temp HP = a small DR. And gaining SP is rare, so it's worth it.
If you just had Torc, too, your SP gaining per hit would be around 14%, and double proccin would happen with a chance of 0,4 %

something's wrong, you didn't have it on or something. i just ran chains epic solo, only shrined once, didn't really need it. conc opp was constantly going off. granted, i have a torc and two items, but they were going off as normal...

Well, you get it while having the +5 Cha skills, +200 SP from GS Item so no problem here.
If I had to craft a weapon just for Conc Op, I wouldn't do it thou.

If you run in a full group and pike, never getting hit, conc-opp obviously can't proc. Run solo, grab aggro, and you will see it more often.

It was in use on my Warchanter so I was getting hit plenty. I guess Im just unlucky with Conc props as I am with Torc drops

+300 SP, +5 stacking UMD and hp/sp regen guard, +6 wisdom and +10 haggle/diplomacy on a single item, yes it's worth it. I put it on non-blue bar toons, that's how good it is!

Not sure if you're using these spells but maybe avoid blur/displacement ...
Players who want their batteries recharged avoid them like mad

I'm not a big fan of Conc Opp.
If you wear Conc Opp and a Torc at the same time you're most likely noticing the Torc going off. Conc Opp has a really low rate and in my opinion it's not worth it. I solo a lot and I still don't notice it going off enough to be worth it. BEFORE the AC changes it went off a lot more, but now I'd rather have high AC, even pre-expansion procs were low enough that I regret my decision.
I like that it's great for slot consolidation, but if I had to do it over I wouldn't make my GS SP item a Conc Opp. I'd rather have a Radiance item, Smoke item, or a Mineral accessory for moar slot consolidation.

Conc op effect is nice, not as nice as the kineric conversion in torc for a caster. But stacking +150 spell points, +5 to charisma skills(=UMD), +6 wisdom and conc op in the same item: Yes please.

This.
Different strokes for different folks. I tried a Torc out for a long time, and was never able to make it work well for my playstyle. I simply never got hit enough with how I play to make it worth wearing. If you don't get hit a lot, however, you probably have less need for sp regeneration.
Personally, I find it distasteful that the game allows for the Conc-op/Torc method of gameplay. Getting hit more should be a bad thing, but I guess the downside is that I often see Conc-op/Torc manipulators get killed because they got sloppy and didn't pay attention to the fact that the damage was exceeding their sp and hp regen.

Torc-opp is awesome. You turn on your max/emp, run like you have enitre S.W.A.T. team chasing you till you get that shiny red icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Then you put your persistant AoE's up, turtle up and start nuking like a madman. After ~10 seconds the mobs are gone, you're missing ~20% of your HP and your SP went down by a tiny bit.
Personally, I find it distastefull that the game allows for melee to have an infinite number of weapon swings and no stamina bar, but I guess the downside is that I often see melee rant about how OP casters are. Getting hit more should be a GOOD thing since this is combat and not flower sniffing.

Is conc-op worth it in isolation? - probably not.
However, as the cherry on top of your GS SP+cha skills item it most certainly is worth it. The SP proc is a bonus
(I have a Torc), the HP proc is what has saved my bacon on many occasions.

Conc op is quite good. I solo coal elite at level, and whenever I need more sp I just throw on a strong pierce dr item and stand in a cloud of bats for a minute or two.

Once a melee can do similiar things, the game will have lost appeal for no challenge left. Until then, many will keep thinking that the Torc deserved a heavy hit with the nerf gun to prevent this style.
Yes, it is fun to some players and valid to be done as long as the game keeps allowing it.
It also create a huge gap between caster / melee and DA red style is doing the server load no good.
But the question wheter it's best for the game overall to remove this option (and thus the fun for some) or not is to be answered by people with access to more statistics and the power to actually do changes. So far, seems like Torc style is considered fine by the company. Just accept that some players prefering melee gameplay feel left behind.
PS: not getting hit IS a goal in combat. You hit the others, not take it yourself.

I'd say it's worth it, especially if you intend to TR into a class with a blue bar - as someone else posted, you get a lot more out of a Conc. Opp Greensteel item than simply the Conc. Opp.
As far as proc rate goes - that does sound low, almost like you weren't being hit? Right after one of my Clerics got his Conc. Opp item I took him into Hard Weapons Shipment, and by the time the boss fight started he had almost a full blue bar, and I was casting plenty of BBs and Implosion (and he did not at the time yet have a Torc.)

This. If you're only wearing it for the SP regen then it -might- be a swap out. (even then mine goes off enough that it's never off me.)
I make mine a hp item instead of sp. That way it's always useful :)

Well, considering you probably want it for the umd as well, and Umd items are NEVER a swap-off due to switch lag, you'll want it always on anyway. In that case, you're basically getting 100-200 sp per shrine without even trying.
