before you ask... dark steel beast2 on vestments (spider-spun caparison). bonus points if you can guess what bow she's using, tho. :D

You messed up. DDO bows don't have strings. ;)

Not bad. Wouldn't mind seeing what this would look like colored.

Ah man I saw this post in the dev tracker and I thought it may have been a dev response to how gimped Elves are.

Oh well the awesome drawing was totally worth it :D

Come here because of Dev Tracker.

The body, bow, and clothing is well done. But the arms need work.

+1 for showing your work to fellow forumites. :)

Really good job on the drawing.
I'm a bit of an artist too, so I know what it's like trying to get everything down the way I want it to.
Sometimes things look good to me, but to others they appear wonky.
The arms do need a bit more muscle tone and a little more bulk, even though it's a female Elf.
Foreshadowing and proportion are sometimes the most difficult aspect of a drawing.

Keep up the good work!
I see a lot of potential in this.
BTW, if any want to see my work, I'm on deviantART under WynterBN.

Sweet and +1, but elf? more like 1/2elf, 1/2 T-rex :)

still way better than anything i could do though.

If you have some money to invest on drawing, try to find one of these (http://i.istockimg.com/file_thumbview_approve/5597539/2/stock-photo-5597539-wooden-drawing-doll.jpg). They help a lot while drawing action poses.

funny but true story... was sitting in a laundromat pantomiming shooting a bow to draw this picture while waiting for my laundry to dry. :D

There has to be a market for Fantasy race proportion mannikin like that. You can just about use those for elves and halflings, but dwarves, horcs, that kind of thing it would be much better to have a specifically designed one. Ditto elves and halflings really if only for size comparisons in group pictures.

I'm sure there would be a few people on the forums who would love to have pictures of their characters drawn, I've got a few artist friends who frequently do requests and commissions to pay for their gaming addiction. :D Figured with your skills you could easily do the same. :)
