Any advice for knowing what to get rid of when trying to clean out your bank/inventory? My characters would be good candidates for the DDO episode of hoarders. It seems like everything has a reason why it might get used... if if if...

If you haven't used it in the past two months, sell it.

With regards to random gen loot, some of it will have been surpassed by the loot pass in U14:

+skills items
+stats items
armor/robe/shield blanks

If you have alt-itis like me, one way to cut down is to choose a few 'relay' points at which you'll keep levels of gear to transfer between alts. Eg. Level 6 stuff, Level 12 stuff, and level 18, then 20+ stuff

Unless you're in the southern hemisphere. :)

I've got two mules on my main server and a few toons to which specific things are relegated (all tomes go to the monk's bank, and so forth).

Every other month I go through and parse out whatever needs to go to a specific toon and auction as much of the rest as I can part with.

any random loot which isn't the highest possible for its level ...so a +6 str item tht is min level 15 - bin it...

but a +6 str item which is min level 13 (is that right?) keep it.

Got a decent aug slot? keep it

Most good lowbie gear can now be crafted pretty easily so just keep aug slot items and craft those.

Ml 13 on items before u14 ml 11 after. This is clean non-rr items.

Also look at the level of crafting on an item before vendoring. As you will most likely get more essences for selling (worth more) from deconing verse vendoring.
