Destiny AP Assignment

Hello Everyone!

I asked about this in the General Discussion area and got no traction. I'm hoping this area will have more luck.

Sunday (Aug 28), I was standing by the Fatespinner assigning some destiny AP when I decided to look at few options in a destiny other than my currently active yet in the same sphere (martial). I was called away to a quest and so closed the destinies dialog without setting the dialog view back to my active destiny. While running the aforementioned quest, I was awarded another destiny AP. The golden AP "pips" advanced appropriately from three to four. Upon returning to the Fatespinner, I noticed that the new AP had been assigned to the destiny I was previously browsing and not my currently active destiny.

So, is this WAI? I was under the impression that AP were assigned to the active destiny only. I am quite certain I didn't inadvertently change active destinies nor did I have my active destiny maxed.

I've never seen this happen. But then I don't stop by the fatespinner except to reset my fate points.

To provided more information:

This happened on my Monk 20+3 who I'm currently leveling in Legendary Dreadnought. He was Tier 2 in LD and had three APs banked. The destiny I was browsing was Shadowdancer (looking at Lithe as a possible twist later on) in which I had taken nothing. When I received my next AP, I was suddenly presented with Shadow Training I and my new AP was nowhere to be found. I think this may be a bug...

Definitely sounds like a bug.

I can't test it - I'm at all lvl 5's. Lots of unspent AP lying around but all the innates are completed.

Did you try resetting your AP to see if you get it back?

I haven't tried a reset. I was hesitant to do that considering the situation. I've since leveled to LD Tier III with 11 of 12 AP being the total spent and no more available - I summed it up at least four times with the same result. Does that sound right? It doesn't to me. I may just try a reset but, man, I don't want to risk having more AP find the nearest rabbit hole. Sigh. It's just a game... it's just a game...

Yeah, it sounds like the same bug that doesn't let you spend your points until you switch back and forth between destinies.

That one happens to me more often than it not happening.

If thats something you can dublicate then its a very benefitial feature and one I hope stays in.
