oh no, on 10% of my 100 off days a year ddo updates. what a travesty.

with the sheer volume of 'update on mah holiday' rants i see on the boards, i see nothing to be angry about. ddo may be down on you guys's holidays, but i have to work during said holidays, count your blessings lol

How many Bank Holidays do you guys have? Jebus, it seems like you guys are constantly on holiday. What is the name of this bank holiday? Monday?

Can't remember, it isn't that many really, it just appears a lot because most updates are on Mondays and almost all bank holidays are too. The only ones that aren't are things like Xmas and New Years but if they fall on a weekend the bank holiday slides along to the following Monday. I think it's something like 10-12 a year so one every 4-5 weeks. Not a lot really compared to some countries.

If you take a look here;

you'll see if you leave out the one-offs for this year and the Scotland/Ireland only holidays we have about the same the US does. However as I said most of ours drop on Mondays to stretch the weekend out occasionally so the cross-over with update day seems worse than it would.

i understand the intended humor, i do not understand why brits get angry when they can't play ddo on two of the 518 holidays they get per year, which happen to fall on the day that's most convenient for the rest of the world.

imperialists have such a sense of entitlement, makes me happy to live in the great country of Delaware.
