HASTE boost, not speed boost.

It said 20 seconds in you're buff bar to? I'll have to clock mine to see.

Yeah im almost done with dread, but ive had haste boost for a long time (fighter).
If its something with dread messing with it i dunno what it would be.

One of the Dreadnaught Autogrants decreases your cooldown on Action boosts. This means you can re-activate them sooner than you could before, and if you are hitting whenever off cooldown you will go through them faster than before.

Yeah, the Dreadnaught passive ability reduces your action boost cooldown by 33%, so it goes from 30 seconds to 20 seconds. Which basically means you don't have a cooldown, since you can re-activate as soon as it expires.

Thats weird it never really had much of a cooldown to begin with. Oh well yet another reason not
to use dread i guess :/

Me-thinks you may be missing the point here :p Decreased cooldowns are a GOOD thing :D Yes, you can "burn them up" faster, but the duration (20 secs) should be the same. The difference with dread, is you can be perma-boosted as you now have zero cooldown instead of the original 10 second gap between boosts. This would explain why you are going through them faster...NOT a change in the duration.

ShadowFlash

Edit: Think of it like this...if you have 10 boosts, and you click it every time it's off cooldown..
Without Dread, this lasts you 290 seconds to exhaust your supply..BUT you are only boosted for 200 secs of that time.
With Dread, those same 10 boosts only last a total of 200 secs, BUT you would be boosted 100% of that time
(activation time not-withstanding)

Normally, action boosts have a 30 second cooldown and a 20 second duration, so after activation, you have to wait 10 seconds in order to activate the boost again.

Dreadnought reduces the cooldown to 20 seconds, so you can activate boosts as soon as they expire, which yields higher DPS, though your boosts will last you a shorter period of time.

I was watching my timers on LD Haste Boost after reading this thread, and as far as I can tell, it lasts the usual 20 seconds.

LOL, it reduces the cooldown to 20 seconds, the same as the duration. It is not a nerf, it means you can keep boosts up for higher burst DPS.
