"Immediately" seems to be a wrong answer, as I spoke to Fatespinner right after leveling, and got only information on Destinies -- no dialog option to actually start one.

BTW, the toon in question is cleric 6/ranger 6/rogue 8, so has a very wide choice of starting Destinies -- anything not Arcane. She will TR into ranger, and I am inclined to go with Exalted Angel.

You need to "Manipulate your destiny" and, in the screen that follows, pick one of them and "Accept" it.

If you can't manipulate your destiny, I would hazard a guess that you don't own the destinies feature?

I recall I couldn't actually accept a destiny until I flipped to another one and back again, but it sounds like you aren't getting to that point.

I bought MOTU Base Edition, so I should have destinies feature.

Oh. I did click "Manipulate your destiny". I did not realize "Destinies" were clickable -- thought they were just pictures. :0

If you own the Epic Destinies feature, then when you go to the Fatespinner (there is one in the Marketplace and one in Eveningstar) she initially shows you a 'map view' of the destinies. This map view basically shows the relationship between the destinies themselves. In the upper left corner, you'll see two tabs. The first one is labeled 'Tree View' and the other labeled 'Map View'. Click the Tree View tab. The destinies available to you depend upon your class/class combinations. This is the break-down:

Arcane Sphere
Available to: Bard, Wizard, Sorceror, Artificer
Destinies: Fatesinger, Magister, Draconic Incarnation

Martial Sphere
Available to: Monk, Rogue, Fighter
Destinies: Grandmaster of Flowers, Shadowdancer, Legendary Dreadnought

Primal Sphere
Available to: Druid, Ranger, Barbarian
Destinies: Shiradi Champion, Fury of the Wild

Divine Sphere
Available to: Favored Soul, Cleric, Paladin
Destinies: Unyielding Sentinel, Exalted Angel

Now, if you have at least 6 levels in any given class, then you may claim any of the destinies in the sphere available to that class. So, if you have an 11 Ranger/9 monk, then you may claim any destiny from the Martial or Primal spheres. Once you claim a destiny, then you have to earn 3 levels in that destiny to unlock the other destinies in the same sphere and you have to earn 4 levels in that destiny to unlock the destiny in the neighboring sphere.

So, 3 levels in Shiradi Champion unlocks Fury of the Wild. While 4 levels in Shiradi Champion will also unlock Legendary Dreadnought. Once another destiny is unlocked, then you may speak with the Fatespinner to make that destiny active. Thus, if you start in Shiradi Champion and want to get to Unyielding Sentinel, then you need to:

1. Earn 4 levels in Shiradi Champion
2. Earn 3 levels in Legendary Dreadnought
3. Earn 4 levels in Grandmaster of Flowers
4. Make Unyielding Sentinel the active destiny

If you do not own the Epic Destinies feature, then you will not be able to make any destiny active. The only thing you can do about that is purchase the Epic Destinies feature and then talk to the Fatespinner.

Epic Destinies become claimable immediately upon taking L20.

I did open Tree View. As I said, I did not realize anything on it was clickable -- I thought it was just a diagram. Will try again tonight.

And, having 6/6/8 breakdown at present, I can start with any destiny in Primal, Material or Divine sphere. I plan to TR into Ranger 18/Bard 2, and Exalted Angel looks most attractive. Shiradi Champion is an obvious ranger extension, but it is just "more of the same". I think Exalted Angel would add the most.
