Hey folks, my first build post, I'm planning to TR my 1st life noobie barb into this build.

Aims of build: mobile fighter but with fairly good saves and evasion, able to chase things down and go for casters...
but also having fairly good dps and ac...

Any advise or criticism would help!

*Maximize can be swapped for another feat, not sure what would help... it's maximize right now for some better self heals....

*Possible starting stats could also be, 15/16/15/10/9/13 (Eating the tomes before TR, so as levels come so do tomes)

Str - 15 + 5 lvls + 2 tome + 2 enhancement +6 item = 30 , unbuffed / unstanced
Dex - 16 + 2 tome + 6 item = 24
Con - 15 + 2 tome + 1 enhancement + 6 item = 24 , unbuffed / unstanced
Int - 10 + 2 tome + 6 item = 18
Wis - 9 + 2 tome + 1 enhancement + 6 item = 18
Cha - 13 + 2 tome + 1 enhancement + 6 item = 22

*Should end up with roughly 32 Str stanced, and 40 Str burst (1 min)
26 Con stanced + 10% to Hp ( roughly 650 standing hp , including GFL, Minos etc etc )

* One more thing, would I have more saves/ac as a pajama toon or using light armors? what items would you folks suggest ?

Thanks beforehand!

I am leveling very similar helf version of this split 34 pt also.

I think I went 16 14 16 10 8 14 had a +3 tome for dex I would recommend getting that tome before you TR got mine from 40 Shroud completions.

Took all paladin and monk lvls early on for HotD and huge healing amp with Jidz-Tet'ka and used handwraps.

Took greater TWF at lvl 12 for 2 litII I had waiting.

Great synergy with having both fighter haste boost and human dmg boost and spamming divine sacrifice at later lvls.

They nerfed the monk pajama builds so I am going to lr +2 soon to 2 lvls of rogue and maxing umd but it was fun lvling as a monk with wraps.

I recommend the frozen tunic, the freezing ability is great but before that a robe with invulnerability and lifeshield.

You can check my setup if you want Hilmir of Argonessen will be holding lvl 18 for a while at least.

What do you mean by that exactly? O.o

pre u14 if you had enough AC then monsters had hard time hitting you. Now you have also PRR, dodge and AC so wearing light armor would give some PRR at least. I am still wearing my DT robe and doing just fine atm.
IIRC the Marilith chain is now light armor so that would be very good armor for an evasive TWF build.

The AC changes in U14 have had a lot of impact, inc. (A) monk-splashed "pajama" builds can no longer hit the "nigh-untouchable" AC levels they once had; (B) the AC options for real armor wearers are much better than they were before (with the stated goal of giving almost everyone at least semi-decent AC); (C) PRR is now an important part of every char's defenses (the heavier your armor, the more PRR you have); and (D) Dodge is now a separate miss chance (capped by your MDB) rather than an AC bonus, which changes the dynamics somewhat.

Thanks for the clarification unbongwah, So from what I am guesstimating...

Dodge Chance: 7% from Dodge + Mobi + Spring Attack , I can arrange another 3% from items easy.. so at least 10% dodge chance... ( I'm happy with that )

PRR: 11,5 from light armor, 20 from DoS I, That gives me 31,5 PRR at least, which = 17% mitigation ( so I take only 83% damage... again happy enough with that, in fact, the extra 11,5 from light armor might not be worth that much in the long run, i would prefer having the speed of changing robes, than the extra 11PRR from a light armor)

Saves: Should get reflex into the 30s, along with evasion makes me a happy boy....

AC: I'm totally sucky at calculating... I know I'll have more than enough to make a difference for heroic Normal and Hard content...

I'll see how this guys levels :)
