If you get rid of it, I'll make it instead of Ebberon Redhide. Til then, I prefer my armor to look like armor, not a red jumpsuit for college kids going to Europe for the summer.

Yes. The style of the backpack says "camping! and no, I didn't make this out of leftover scales! Also, I have a bedroll." Not a very dragon slayer-ee message to send.

The backpack looks silly.

Me too... it looks like he is going on an actual adventure (vs a random instance).

If they remove that, they need to remove the stupid vest on eberron redscale docent composite body. completely ruins the great skin by adding something you can find on any piece of junk random docent.

I like it... if they added an option to the DDO store where you put a backpack on any armor id buy it.

I wish they wouldn't put "accessories" on armor that is named/Epic/you have to grind to get. Instead, as someone mentioned, they should have accessory kits that you can add to your armor if you prefer. A lot of people (including me) like their armor to look cool and uncluttered / uncovered by "mundane" looking things.

Or, if accessory kits are too much coding, offer the armors in different "skins" - 1 plain and 1 with accessories!

I like the pack. I think it's adds a touch of visual realism to the idea that we're adventurers in a strange world. We don't have homes there, and realistically our money woudln't be the same, and having supplies would be the norm.

Sorry the back pack should go. Unless they dress it up a little.

Like a "Hello Velah!" backpack.

I like the backpack, BUT I feel your pain... I can't stand the new-style fr shoulder pads. I refuse to buy armor kits, so I just grin and bear it. It gets better over time, kind of. :p

To be honest I'd like to see more backpacks, quivers, holsters, sheaths...

Bring in some more dungeon punk aesthetic, I mean if your dressed for parade in a known area then not having the bags ect works. But that's solder thinking. An adventurer needs to have it all on him, to hand.

That said I would detach the above paraphernalia from armour all together, and have an option to show, or not show. Toggled on, the amount of scabbards quivers, of backs sacks and the like you have, would be based on number of inv tabs filled, and what you have equipped.

But the back pack just says "I'm prepared". Sort of like spirit cakes on a hotbar... :p

Couldn't resist. While we are at it, can we make the Regalia look less like a Caberet outfit? But the flaming feathers are fabulous!

The majority of equipment cosmetics in this game are not very aesthetically pleasing, to say the least. Please give us capes just so we can cover up all the ugly-ass outfits.

Personally I prefer it. It reminds me of pnp where almost everyone in a group had a backpack. I'd agree with some folks above me that perhaps an alternate skin would the answer.

But if most folks dislike it Turbine may keep it for the kit sales alone :p

Backpacks should have a toggle switch. The Bedroll for this game is a good idea, but we don't use them.

EPIC BEDROLL: once per real Earth day/24 hours you may conjure a rest shrine and use it where you wish. Not useable in public areas.
