Monster Manual entries vanishing

Well, yesterday I had hundreds of wolf kills, dozens of entries... and now 0. Tried re-logging. Still good. Good job, Turbine!

I was excited about monster manual. I really was. I was going to grind out a wraith pet and an earth elemental pet. Now I see that all my work can just vanish at random. So... what's the point in trying for anything?

I am very excited about the Monster Manuals, but I am not going to do anything different in my playstyle to achieve certain benchmarks in the MM......yet. Needs to be 100% working before I grind anything out.
Seeing Turbines recent blunders on offering lots of shiny new things but then having those things not work properly.......I can wait.

How to fix wolf (temporary fix):
so far i noticed everytime i log in with a toon, the wolf show empty, as if i haven't killed any.
However, they appear back again to where it was last time as soon i kill 1 wolf

so find a wof, kill, and list should reapear, it will diseapear again at logout, so rince and repeat.

We have been trying to keep track of the missing/broken entries in the MM so check this out.

I had Wolf kills go to zero...


night before, killing a named wolf brought it back... it disappeared again last night and after a dozen regular wolf kills... still have 0 kills

Yup, upon the release of U15, I lost ALL prior progress. I spend nearly a full week farming those various type for the prologue. All gone, no word from Turbine. This isn't any different that losing raid loot, it's something we invest time in, and we lose all progress cause they didn't code it properly.

Well, look on the bright side. If your counts really go back to 0, then the TP reward should be attainable again... Look at it as the bug that keeps on giving... :D

NOTE: I don't know if it will reward the TP again for zeroed out kills, but the thought's nice... ;)

That's a different issue. And there actually was word from Turbine, they specifically said they were taking the MM preview down (due to an exploit, but that's neither here nor there) until the actual release with u15 and that it was likely progress would be lost by this.

Not saying that it was acceptable, just saying that it's not the same as the wolf bug.

Have you tried logging in all characters that contributed to the various entries?

It's a shot in the dark but some forum goers reported this same issue (U15 released -> MM prologues wiped clean) and then came back saying that the entries returned as soon as they logged the characters that contributed to them.

Some people lost all progress, some kept all progress though.
