It is very likely a problem with how they determine the amount of the lottery based on character level. Just like, 2 months later, there are STILL epic dungeon token lotteries that are only for level 20 characters, not 20 and up. After I started this thread, I found two other toons who had won, were lower level (4 and 5 I think), and they won 400 and 625 plat, if I remember correctly. But the 2 gp is still a wierd number

Yup, the plat lotteries are all scaled on character level, and myDDO doesn't handle anything 20+ very well (They probably never got around to code it).

Count yourself lucky it wasn't negative plat. :D

Sounds like slot machines in Australia.

In most countries' casinos a slot machine usually gives you nothing, but if you win, you win more than you put in. In Australia they have 50-cent slot machines, where the smallest (and thus most common) payoff is 20 cents.

We've actually been meaning to get rid of that lottery for a while, thanks for reminding me about it. Lottery removed!

I've replaced it (for now at least) with a Hireling Cleric Brigade lottery, which will offer a mix of gold seal and regular cleric hirelings of various levels (the winner gets the whole hireling brigade.)

I have that same problem now, although they pretty much stopped working about 4 days before U15. When I'd click on lotteries to enter, a grey box would open with no text etc.

Have you tried going to the page directly outside the game, using like firefox or IE? Just sign in to forum first, then type in my.ddo.com/username. For example, yours would be my.ddo.com/captainspacepony. Just make sure you're signed in.

My Myddo page was borked for ~2 months, but they did fix it about a month ago, so have hope!

I kind of liked that lottery, because there seemed to be a good chance of winning it. It just needed to be modified to work properly for level 21+ toons. Even if that lottery is gone, you should still fix other lotteries, such as epic dungeon tokens.

For those of you having problems with lotteries that show deleted toons, or if you want to only enter lotteries on one server, look at this thread (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=322786), which provides some add-on scripts for your browser. It does not work with IE8, haven't tried it with IE9, but it does work with Firefox.

I had the same problem. I went to MyDDO outside of game, logged out, then logged back in and it seemed to have fixed it. It fixed the issue where the forums wasn't remembering my log-in as well and I can now bug report!

Didn't you hear, the Coin Lords have been having some legal issues and the Bank of Kundarak was ordered to freeze all of their accounts. The economy in Stormreach just hasn't been doing all that good since the rift opened up to Faerun.

Would you prefer that prize or to win a True Heart on a character that was deleted 9 months ago? My deleted characters have won more lottos in the past 2 months than my 10 active characters. The Lotto and My DDO are complete jokes.
